Waterproof mascara is formulated to cling to lashes and withstand water and the elements, so it should only be removed with a proper eye makeup remover. Water alone won't cut it, and soap will strip and dry out lashes in the removal process (while also less effective than an eye makeup remover.) Just discovered this gem
I tried this thanks to a review and am so glad I did. Goes on smoothly and easily. Great color. Does not clump and no need to put on several layers
Formula dries out fast
I looove this mascara, especially the brown version. The only issue is that the formula will dry out within a few months of use and I can't even use up the whole bottle. Other mascaras that I've had for years are still as good as the day I got them. And note that the waterproof mascara is extremely hard to remove compared to the water based one, but that's not so much a con as it is an inconvenience. I think the few months of use are worth the great length and pigment you get. I mostly love that I can rub my eyes and there's no smudging. Unless I find a longer lasting mascara, this is my go-to.
