Why do the directions online say it is a setting spray that can be used over makeup, but the directions on the bottle say not to spray on your face? I brought this as a setting spray, but it quite specifically says not to spray on your face.
- Asked by EKO
- Official Answer By Naked Sundays - Brand EngageFirstly, we want to assure you that our Hydrating Face Mist is perfectly safe for use on both your face and body. No problem there! However, the TGA in Australia requires us to add these on label directions in order to comply with local label requirements, so we have to make sure we comply with usage instructions and mandatory warnings in those regions. This is to avoid customers accidentally spraying the product directly into their eyes, mouth, or nose. We’ll be looking to update our USA labels to not include this statement! Was this answer helpful to you

I've been waiting YEARS for Australia to get a SPF mist that is suitable over makeup! FINALLY! Every other SPF spray I've tried spits out white dots and it's a total mess on top of makeup. The way the mist comes out is 11/10! It almost kisses your face with the appropriate amount each spray and leav...

I am disappointed in this spf spray. It has so much potential though. The spray nozzle worked well and it's not sticky upon application. Other than that, it's too heavily fragranced and the fragrance lingers for hours. I have not tried it while out in the sun so, I can't speak on how well it works. ...

Make this fragrance free
Don't get me wrong i liked this setting spray but after couple of minutes spraying on my face it gives me a headache, the fragrance so strong :(
Not for sensitive eye girlies
I was really hoping this setting spray would work for me since most SPF setting sprays do not. Unfortunately it was also a miss-two hours of wear and it started to completely burn my eyeballs as most SPF setting sprays do. It does feel very gentle and has a nice scent. I spray it on the back of my neck but would not repurchase it. If your eyes are normal it should be fine but if you tend to have problems like me this is not a miracle product.
MY EYES
I bought this to use as a sunscreen topper to reapply during the day at the beach/pool. About 30 minutes after spraying my face my eyes started burning HORRIBLY. Its hours later now and my eyes are still burning and red. Side note i looked like a grease ball after applying too so i doubt this would work well over makeup

I am disappointed in this spf spray. It has so much potential though. The spray nozzle worked well and it's not sticky upon application. Other than that, it's too heavily fragranced and the fragrance lingers for hours. I have not tried it while out in the sun so, I can't speak on how well it works. I didn't sweat while I had it on either and not sure if it burns your eyes but, I do have a feeling it will once you sweat and it runs down your eyes, or if you rub your eyes. Also, the directions are confusing. On the bottle itself, it says to NOT spray on the face but onto your hands and then rub onto face. The directions on both Naked Sundays' website and Ulta's say to spray directly onto face while holding breath. So, which is it? Lastly, I'm even more confused why this is titled as a setting spray because it is not a setting spray. It's an spf topper, meaning you apply your refugular spf and then two hours later, you use the spray to reapply. If they take out the heavy fragrance and decide on the correct way to apply, I might reconsider purchasing again. I plan to use the rest on my hands and arms just so it doesn't go to waste.
burns eyes bad
