I ordered this based on the "tea" description and the glowing reviews, but I ended up returning it the next day. There is sort of a smoked tea note, slightly in the same vein of TokyoMilk Bulletproof (which I love) but it quickly devolves into something that smells like incense and rubber tires. ...

I ordered this based on the "tea" description and the glowing reviews, but I ended up returning it the next day. There is sort of a smoked tea note, slightly in the same vein of TokyoMilk Bulletproof (which I love) but it quickly devolves into something that smells like incense and rubber tires. Rose and patchouli incense, specifically. It's pungent, sharp, and made me want to scrub my hands to get every trace off me. I don't know why more of the reviews aren't mentioning the rubber tire smell, either. it's just not a pleasant scent, and it is definitely not appropriate if you are working in close proximity to people, like in an office cubicle setting.

I was expecting something soft, this isn't soft. I love how strong the tea and incense are, you can smell the bergamot in the bit of bitterness it carries! I would say if you like sweetness this isn't sweet at all, if you love peppery, woody and floral smells this is exactly that, I would even say it's smells creepy which is what I have been looking for years!
