Does this produt work as effectively as a regular scrub, if you leave it on for 1 minute, as stated on the instructions?

While you will see more exfoliation by leaving this on the skin for an additional minute, Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser offers a more gentle exfoliation. It can be used daily. If you prefer a traditional scrub, try Origins Checks & Balances Polishing Face Scrub. It uses Bamboo and Mineral Silica to improve skin texture and minimize pores. It can be used up to 4x a week. I recently purchased this exfoliant and have been happy with using it. I had my 13 year old daughter use it tonight, and this was the outcome. I tried to put some of the same collection moisturizer on her face, barely put a drop on, and she said it burned. Not sure what ingredient is causing this reaction, but she definitely can't use this line of Origins products, and she knows how good other Origins is.
