I need the eyeshadow I buy to be the blackest black I can find, will this apply with full and dark coverage no matter the color underneath?

While the palette offers beautiful shades, the black in the Gilded Mini is richly pigmented and designed to give you great coverage. However, depending on the base color or primer you’re using, you may want to layer it for an even more dramatic effect. Loved this product!
I am a dancer so my studio required this for stage makeup and it was so pigmented and easy to use! The only thing I didn't like was how it broke so easily from traveling. Pro tip for using this, with the glitter shades, lick or wet your brush with setting spray to really pack on the glitter pigment.
Not what I thought
I really loved the colors in the pallet, but once I applied them, they didn't really pop like I thought they would barely had anything. I tried before and it didn't give me enough color..
Good value product
It's good for the price, nice compact essential browns palette. I use an eyeshadow primer underneath, and then apply the shadow, I'm able to get a decent smoky eye effect from it. I haven't experienced a lot of dusting from it, it's not super pigmented or saturated which makes it great for blending. If you are looking for more strong pigmented higher quality, I would recommend Urban Decay Naked palettes which are more expensive. Overall I would buy it again, I usually go for drugstore pricing on makeup anyways so this fits my overall makeup style and preferences.
