Both The Bottle & Efficacy Are Great!! Let me start by saying how much I was blown away by the bottle of both the Essie gel matte top coat and the gel color in V.I.Please! I have never seen a bottle that looked as if it was melted and twisted for a nail polish before so I absolutely love that! I started by using the gel color in shade V.I.Please and was super excited with how pigmented it is! One swipe on my nail had it completely covered and bold bright beautiful color!!! After letting it dry (which doesn't take long at all and doesn't need a U.V light!!!!) I wanted to test the gel matte top coat over top of the color. And at first it just looks like a normal top coat. But I could watch as it slowly started becoming less and less shiny until the top coat completely dried. It dried down into a beautiful matte finish! Not TOO matte to where it looks like you tried coloring your nails with sharpie or anything like that. Haha. The perfect amount of matte. And the matte top coat didn't negatively effect the color of coverage for me at all, which is an issue that I have experienced with other brands and types. This is the best matte top coat I have came across thus far. And I am in love with the bottle and the fact that its gel that does NOT need a U.V light which is a huge win in my book. It helps the wear time and helps thin nails from bending or feeling as flimsy and breaking. I've been wearing it for about a week now and I have no chipping or anything yet. So I absolutely recommend this!
Satin Finish and Quick Drying This product was different. I wouldn't really say that it is matte, more of a satin finish which was nice. I am terrible at painting my own nails and the matte top coat erased a world mistakes (that I made) applying gel paint that I got with the matte top coat (meant to work with the top coat). I did notice that the top coat pitted if I only used one coat and that it rubbed off after a few days and needed to be re-applied.

I've always struggled with clear coats not making my polish last but with this Essie gel clear coat it goes on smooth looks like a gel but lasts so much longer and it easy to take off. My favorite clear coat product!

This gel top coat works very well! It is matte so it doesn't leave your nails looking super shiny, rather just simple and classy. My mom was excited to try it and seemed to like it as well.

I'm a huge fan of essie polishes in general so i'm glad i got this top coat. This makes my color polishes stay on a lot longer and gives it a matte finish. Would recommend if you want your polishes to last!

I am very impressed with the Essie Gel Couture Matte Top Coat! This was my first time using Essie- so I am impressed with how super easy it is to apply. When you apply this top coat over your nail polish and really leaves a nice salon quality finish! It have had It on over a week and had no signs of chipping. This really is such a great product!
