Good, not great

The Buxom plumping lip matte is just okay. It is very smooth and creamy, so it doesn't dry your lips out, which is nice. It has the slightest tingling effect, but I didn't notice a ton of plumping. It applies easily and makes your lips look very smooth - it has a mousse/whipped texture. However, sin...ce it's on the creamier side, it's not going to last all day. I found this to wear off pretty quickly, so you'll need to reapply often. If you can't stand drying lip products but want a matte lip, this may be worth it for you. One other thing I wasn't a fan of is that I got the dreaded line on the inside of my lip. I tried my best to get rid of it, but it wouldn't go away and only got worse throughout the day. That might just be a problem for me though (maybe application error or could be avoided with better lip prep) and others may not have the same issue. I tried the Dolly color, which is supposed to be a universal mauve. It's a pretty color, but more of a light pink rather than a true mauve, and much lighter than I expected. I'm very fair and this is almost a bit pale for my preference. I think it'd look better with a darker lip liner, especially if you have a deeper complexion than me. Overall, it's a good product that I'll continue to use, but nothing that blew me away. I'd recommend if you want a creamy matte lipstick that doesn't dry out your lips and you don't mind reapplying throughout the day. Pictures show Dolly swatched on my hand, on my lips right after initial application, and on my lips after 2 hours of wear (only drank out of a straw during this time, didn't eat).
