Great for my 40ish skin

First, the color match is so absolutely perfect with my skin tone. I do use a shade darker because I know I will tan just a bit now that it is spring. My close friends who see me often without makeup have all been complimenting my skin since I've been using this (shhh, don't tell them it's this fo...undation). I recently posted a selfie and then ran into a mom-friend later that week in a store and she said to me, "your skin is flawless, I truly though you were using a filter on your photos but now I can see for myself you weren't!" I've read reviews about this being drying, I have extremely dry skin and haven't experienced drying. However, I use some heavy duty moisturizer under my primer. so this isn't a problem for me. I was on the search for a new foundation with medium coverage that didn't cake, crease and feel heavy now that my skin is aging and my light coverage foundations weren't cutting it anymore. I am so in love with this foundation. I use the Morphe sponge with it and it looks exactly like I'm using a smoothness filter on my face. I have so many scars, melasma, red spotting, sun damage and hyperpigmentation on my face and this foundation covers it all. I'm not even using very much concealer now like I was before. I even had my 70 year old mother try it and she's sold, she's been using air brush makeup for a long time but likes this better. I haven't experienced oxidation with this but I go through a lot right now because my daughter is interested in makeup and I've been doing a lot of different faces with her so lots of cleaning and doing another face a few days a week. I have some rare diseases (and not so rare, like psoriasis and eczema) that cause me to be allergic to so many things, I have to be so careful with products I use because I can break out in some gnarly rashes and my immune system can attack my skin if I have reactions to products and cause ulcers, which is why I have so much scaring. I have not had any issues with this foundation. One last thing, I'm ashamed to say how many top foundations I've tried before finding this one. I mean dozens. I even tried many of the pro foundations that claim to cover tattoos and none actually covered my ink. I can cover them with this, it does take a couple more layers but it works.
