What is this supposed to smell like? I'm obsessed with Murad products, so I decided to buy this toner. The reviews say it smells great and citrus like. Mine smells like chemicals, almost like I'm putting whiskey on my face. It gave me an immediate headache. Did I get an expired bottle maybe? I intend on shipping back if this is not normal?

What is the difference between Essential-C toner and the Hydrating toner?

- Official Answer By MuradThe Hydrating Toner helps to rebalance and hydrate the skin while using peach, chamomile and cucumber extracts to calm and soothe. Lecithin aids in hydration and also the protection of the individual cells. A powerful blends of vitamins C, E and grapeseed extract protect the skin from free radical damage. The Essential C Toner contains alanine, proline and lysine along with other amino acids help to condition the skin while restoring balance and fighting free radical damage. What is the percentage of Vitamin C in your Vitamin C toner?

- Official Answer By MuradFirst let me start by stating that we disclose the percentage of an ingredient only when it is an “active ingredient” in other words, an OTC (over-the-counter), FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved ingredient. Here at Murad, as part of our Corporate policy, we do not disclose percentages in our high performance formulations as this information is considered proprietary. What I can share with you is that Dr. Murad creates formulas based on a result not a percentage. I'm not blown away by this toner. I got it because it's alcohol-free, but the spray top is really annoying. Definitely going to buy again and again
I've been using this for two weeks now and this stuff is amazing. I was dealing with major cystic acne for 6 months. I'm 29 and never had it before! I even tried curology and was prescribed prescription antibiotics and ointments by my actual doctor. Both still didn't help me at all. Not sure what was causing it, all I know is I changed up my skincare routine with this and it's been amazing. I had acne along my jaw bone and sides of my cheeks. I still have some scaring now, but this has totally been clearing up breakouts! I no longer have painful acne. Even after I wash my face and shower, then use it with a cotton pad there is dirt that comes off so it really helps clear out pores. I spray it on my face and then wipe with the cotton pad. My skin is also glowing! The acne had caused it to have horrible texture and uneven skin tone, but this has made it much softer too. I love it and will definitely keep buying this!

I have combination skin, and have been struggling with a lot of texture on my forehead. I've used this morning and night for about two weeks and have seen SOOOO much improvement in the texture it's unreal!!! I do use about 4-5 sprays directly on my face, rub it in after a few seconds, and follow up with a light moisturizer. Please don't ever stop making this!!
