Wanted to like this so badly!!
I've only heard great things about this mascara and I was SO excited to try it. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype for me and I'm convinced I got a bad batch or the positive reviews are sponsored or something?? The mascara is so dry and flaky even on the first use of a brand new tube. It applied like month old mascara and was clumpy immediately and flaked horribly throughout the day. The packaging is so cute and I love that the primer isn't white like most are but the product itself was a no for me :(
Instant Results
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Two things I don't leave the house without putting on: lip gloss and mascara! I was very excited about this on! One end has a lengthening tubing brown Primer and the other end has volumizing black mascara. I definitely should have curled my lashes before, but overall, I like it and definitely saw a difference!
Great for short lashes
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was surprised by this product. I really loved the brown primer step- something I haven't used before. Honestly- even with the brown primer my lashes looked great and had improved length. Then- the black volumizing leveled it up even more! Easy to apply and use, no weird smell, and lasted all day while I ran errands. As someone who struggles with both length and volume- this might be my new favorite mascara.
Blends and isn't Flakey!!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I personally really liked the primer being brown. Lash Primers I've tried in the past are white and it's takes a lot to cover the primer and sometimes it looks flakey after, this is the complete opposite!! Since the primer is dark brown it blends really well with the mascara and is also a really nice travel experience since it's a two in one!
Voluminous mascara
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The Dibs Double Standard Primer and Mascara Duo is affective. The primer acts as a base coat and then the mascara defines. It is convenient in that it is combined so you don't have two separate tubes. I am giving 4 stars only because I don't like the mascara brush. It is too bulky and makes it difficult to apply. It creates clumps.. Please make it the same as the primer brush.
