This formula is designed for a dewey finish. For best application results, we recommend to shake well and spray at least six inches from your face in circular motion to set makeup. Why is PHENOXYETHANOL in almost every product? When I looked it up I found this: Is phenoxyethanol a hormone disruptor? Phenoxyethanol is accused of causing endocrine disruption and having effects on the blood and liver at extreme doses. What is phenoxyethanol made from? Phenoxyethanol is made from the reaction of ethylene oxide, phenol and an alkali. Ethylene oxide on its own is a carcinogen, and it is associated with reproductive effects. One website said in Europe and Japan they allow no more than 1% of phenoxyethanol in any product because it causes endocrine/hormone disruption - WHY use it at all? There are other products that are much safer that could be used.

I bought this because wanted something that could set my makeup without having to use a powder, so I could keep a fresh dewy finish. It does make my makeup a bit more dewy, but I don't think it made my makeup last much longer than it normally does. However, I do like to take it with me on the go if...

Formula change?
I have been using this setting spray over the past two years with great results. It always leaves me a glowy finish, and it also last for hours in this Florida heat. I recently purchased a new bottle, but unfortunately my makeup melted after only 2 hours of application, and it also did not provide the dewy finish as it had previously.
Low Cost Compared with LANCÔME Fix IT
Based on application this feels more tacky, compared to lancome fix it foret it, by like 2 percent. It makes your skin look hydrated if yoi used a matte foundation. Its holding up. However, if you got more cash to spend invest in urban decay brand setting spray. For reference: I used Double wear by EL, with bobbi brown primer, elf liquid blush, and laura mercier setting powder. I have dry to normal skin. Doesnt appear oily.
My new favorite setting spray!
This is so good! It sprays perfectly (unlike others that drop fat water droplets and ruin my makeup) and gives a beautiful glow without looking oily. It holds up sweat in gym class and still looks great at 80 degree weather.

I received the deluxe sample of it with my order, I was amazed by how it makes my face look dewy and plump, I spray it on my face every time after I put on my foundation, concealer, and HD setting powder. I bought three more to keep in stock!
