I just got into taking care of my nails and cuticles. I got this on a recommendation from a friend of mine and after weeks of having this, I have to say that I love it. I am never going back from crystal files after this one. I was nervous it would break or I would drop it based some of the reviews here, but I've been storing/keeping it in the packaging it arrived in and my file has been in great condition since I got it in the mail. I live in a house with mainly marble tile floors and am clumsy but haven't dropped this baby.
I definitely recommend this and doubly recommend storing it in the original packaging tube when not in use.
The glass nail file is gorgeous. It worked well, smooth filing, no ragged edges. However, it is fragile. After only having it a couple of weeks, I dropped it and it broke in half, right at the point where the file abuts the handle. It should be manufactured to withstand everyday impacts.

I've tried different nail filers and none of them were as good as this. Opi's Crystal nail file gets the job done in fewer strokes and creates a smooth edge on my nails. Almost like it's shaping and budding the edges in one stroke. I love it so much. It's made the job much easier!

No need for those cheap nail files that feel like sandpaper & need to be tossed cause the go dull, this is truly the only file you'll ever need! Files my nails to perfection SO quickly!

I love this file. My nails are thin and tend to get ragged with most files. This one left my natural nails so smooth and perfect, and worked great for shaping acrylics as well.
It is fragile because glass, duh, but I have already dropped it and it survived, so it's sturdier than my last one!

I bought this on a lark, not expecting it to be much different from paper emery boards. But it is different -- files my nails much smoother and faster. It can break (because glass, duh) so you have to be a little careful with it, but it's still pretty durable. I rinse it off, let it air dry and store it in the plastic container.

I have always struggled with achieving even results while filing my nails. emery boards left them with a chewed up appearance, uneven and rough. I've used this just once so far and I'm very pleased. I am storing it in it's original packaging to prevent breakage.

I love this nail file. It makes filing my nails a pleasure. So far, it has never dulled. It files nails quickly and leaves them smooth, not to mention it is very pretty & feels luxurious to use. I was surprised by the size; it is smaller than I expected. You could easily carry it in your purse, although I understand that crystal nail files are fragile.

My nails are very weak, thin, fragile recovering from gel and acrylics artificial nails.

OPI makes the best crystal nail file, far better than others I've tried. I've purchased one for every room ;)

Great nail files are so difficult to find. I've tried them all. However, I hit the jackpot on this one!

Great nail file.

This file is great. I originally got a cheap glass file to try them and loved it. The OPI file is MUCH better. It's not gritty but does a great job filing down my nails quickly without leaving rough edges. It does feel delicate but that also allows for easier side filing.

I love how this isn't gritty and I love the feeling of it. it's pretty but more importantly it does a superior job. Unfortunately my 3 year old dropped it and it shattered after having it only a month. I came back to get one ordered but it isn't available, so I figured I'd write a review instead.

Quickly files nails down. Not going back to using clippers and gritty emery boards.
