The Hair Edit's Cream Finish & Shine Boar Bristle Brush boosts the health and shine of your hair while smoothing, detangling, and taming flyaways.
I tried the Finish + Shine Brush Boar Bristle Brush Gold and was very impressed! I'll start by saying that previous to this brush, I only used a plain paddle brush. I was having trouble with frizzy hair that was full of static electricity. I was shocking myself on everything metal and could hear the electric snap when brushing my hair! This brush has changed all of that. I am no longer fighting with static electricity and my hair is not as frizzy as before. I think the boar bristles have made all the difference. They help to distribute my natural oils from my scalp down through my hair to keep it smooth and shiny. It is also worm mentioning that I live in Florida, where it is often humid and hot. I didn't realize how much of a difference this brush could be from my plain paddle brush. This brush is easier for me to hold and handle too. I would definently say it is worth a try to tame your hair and keep it looking healthy. One photo shows the larger side of my part having used the brush and the other side I did not use it for the photo. I also have not used any product in this picture.
I've been wanting to try a boar bristle brush for a while now, so I was stoked to get this. The first time I used it, I noticed how lightweight and gentle it felt brushing through my hair. It definitely got all the tangles out without damaging or pulling out my hair, and THAT I do like. However, this brush made my hair extremely staticky. Like bad. I thought maybe it was a one time thing or maybe I was having a bad hair day, but every time I've used it since, it has done the same. It kind of forces me to use some kind of oil or leave in conditioner in order to tame it, and I definitely prefer not to use too many products in my hair unless I have to. I'll continue to use this in hopes that it will maybe get better, but for now, I honestly prefer my regular paddle brush.

i've had this brush for less than 2 months now and was wondering why my scalp was becoming so sensitive when I brushed my hair. Come to find out, the little plastic balls on the end of the plastic bristles completely had fallen off and was scratching my scalp, and not in a good way. I've noticed a good difference in my hair since switching from a Wet brand brush, shine increased and less frizzy, but very disappointed that it didn't last very long :(

Good on wavy southeast Asian hair. Deranges and smooths hair. I even have the small brush to bring along with me.

The protective ends at the end of each bristle quickly fell off within a month of using. This caused the bristles to feel very rough on my scalp.

this brush has really flexible bristles and was perfect for detangling. I also liked the soft rubber that capped off each nylon bristle. in a matter of months, almost all the rubber caps have popped off d: brushing is a scratchy experience now.

The plastic bristles are missing from the middle section. Not sure if this is intentional or if I received a defective brush, but I don't see that reflected in the product images. Did not feel as nice to use as similar brushes from other brands, and the imbalance from the missing bristles is unpleasant.
