- Q
Do the matte shades contain mica?
- Asked by Autumn
- Official Answer By Maybelline - Brand EngageHi there! Thank you for reaching out about our Color Tattoo Longwear Multi-Use Eyeshadow Stix. While I can provide general information about cosmetic ingredients, I don't have access to the exact, up-to-date ingredient lists for specific products like the Maybelline Color Tattoo Longwear Multi-Use Eyeshadow Stix. Ingredient formulations can sometimes change, and for the most accurate information, it's always best to check the product's official ingredient list, which is usually found on the packaging or on the brand's official website. Generally speaking, mica is a mineral commonly used in cosmetics to provide shimmer, sparkle, or a pearlescent effect. Products labeled as "matte" are typically formulated to have a flat, non-shimmery finish, and therefore, they usually contain little to no mica, or perhaps a different form of mica that doesn't impart shimmer, if it's used for other properties like texture. For precise details regarding the matte shades of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Longwear Multi-Use Eyeshadow Stix, I recommend checking the ingredient list provided by Maybelline directly. Was this answer helpful to you

- Asked by TNT
- Official Answer By Maybelline - Brand EngageHello there! Hypoallergenic means an ingredient is less likely to cause an allergic reaction. However, a small percentage of the population may be sensitive to specific ingredients. Maybelline does not make specific claims of hypoallergenic, although we believe most people can safely use our product. We have made every effort to eliminate as many of the known common sensitizing ingredients from our products as possible. Was this answer helpful to you

Rockin Roll Up Eye Pop
I LOVE this product! I am 62 and love using colored eyeliner to make my green eyes pop. The Color Tattoo works exceptionally and the fact I can twist up without having to sharpen EVERY time I use it, is a MAJOR score. Love the 'I am giving' green color, which was my first. Please make a blue, te...

Broke on the second use! :(
I really enjoyed wearing this eye shadow two times. However upon my second wear, and mind you I do not twirl the stick all the way up whem applying. I keep the stick of eyeshadow low just like I do my lipstick. No need to twirl it all the way up when you are only using the tip. Yes today was the...

Disappointed
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I didn't love this product. Maybe it's the summer heat but I trialed this product for work one day and was in and out of the office in the heat and I felt like this just melted on my face. I used one more time and thought the same. I won't be repurchasing. Color is cool and cool concept but I didn't like.
Nice for On the Go
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Love the ease of application with this eyeshadow stix. Warming it up on the back of the hand and then applying gives the perfect look. This way it doesn't drag across the skin. I also like the matte yet shimmer finish.
Easy to use
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] These color tattoo eye Stix are convenient thanks to the packaging. They are nicely pigmented. It was easy to apply I had a little trouble blending out the matte one. I'm a makeup novice and it was easy to create a clean subtle look.

Love the shimmer and how smooth it is applying
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love the shimmer and colors. I love that it has a built-in sharpener at the bottom that's really versatile and blends really well. It goes on Super smooth and I love how easy these are to use not anything difficult. If super effortless to use.

Not a fan.
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was not very impressed with these at all. Starting of with blendability, there is none. I tried to put it on as an eyeshadow and blend it out, it just either completely wiped off or smeared unevenly against my eyelid. Speaking of smearing, it did that horribly. It states it's "tattoo" meaning it should stay for a long time- but it did NOT. You could smear it off so easy and even if you didn't, it would smudge on its own pretty quickly. The pigment was good ONLY if you pushed down pretty hard / went over it several times- which is not something I love to do on my eyes. Both of the colors were either too dark or didn't show up at all (I'm wearing it as liner in the picture with the orange shirt- you can't see it AT ALL). Overall would not recommend!
