I like to look up different fragrances & read about them, so when I go to the store I can see if they smell how I imagined. Many people were raving about this fragrance, even saying it was a dupe for MFK's Baccarat Rouge 540, which is a $300 bottle of perfume. I thought that was an impressive reputation, so I went to Ulta to try it out. My final thoughts: I like it! Keep in mind when you read reviews that everyone's skin chemistry is different, so this fragrance could be fantastic on some & a disaster on others. My advice, do what I did & try it for yourself(ON YOUR SKIN) at the store. At first when I tried it on, I did NOT like it. It was strange, & seemed as though it wasn't going to sit well on me. I let it dry down, and THEN I understood the craze. This scent is so different and exciting. It's sweet, but also kind of fresh/woodsy? I'd also say this fragrance is almost unisex. There's a masculine quality to it, which I think is due to the cashmere base note. It's a more sophisticated fragrance than others in her collection so I see it on someone 18+. It is a strong scent, so I can see how someone who doesn't like the smell can find it nauseating. Even hours after I've put it on, I can still smell it intensely, & I only did one spray. Overall, I like it much better now hours later than when I initially sprayed it. It dries down to that rich, sweet scent you're expecting. The coconut(which I normally hate) is surprisingly well done, not overpowering/obnoxious at all. Whipped cream, vanilla, and cashmere are the dominant notes on me. Overall, I give this fragrance a 7 out of 10. I really like it, but I don't love it. It's definitely unique but also not for everybody. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's a "Sugary woodsy" smell. Has an understated seductiveness to it. Give it a shot! It's interesting at the very least.
I've been a fan of Ariana's since 2010 and I have genuinely loved every single one of her fragrances released so far. (Ari and SLC are my favorites). When she told us that Cloud was going to have hints of vanilla and coconut, and that it's definitely her favorite fragrance so far, I was SO excited. I couldn't wait to have a new daily perfume. I came straight to Ulta to pick it up and the bottle's design looks a little like something she'd release in 2013, but I knew I'd just have to get past that. Then I sprayed it - It had an OVERWHELMINGLY musky, manly scent. It smells IDENTICAL to when you walk into a store like Hollister or Abercrombie & Fitch and you get a punch of just... a woody/manly smell that's so overpowering you can't even continue shopping. Yet, I still, impulsively purchased the fragrance just because I wanted to love it so much. I'm so sad to say that Cloud is actually my least favorite fragrance of Ariana's when I expected so much more and it to be my most favorite. It doesn't smell anything like coconut, or even vanilla. I returned Cloud shortly after purchasing it, knowing I just really disliked the scent. ☹️♡

It smells nice when I spray it in the air but when it's on my skin it starts to smell like… dust? Idk maybe my body chemistry doesn't work well with it lol. It it does smell nice on their people.

My daughter asked for this over a year ago. I just purchased her 3rd bottle (we get the largest size). She uses it nearly daily and loves it. She's layered it with other body sprays, etc and it seems to blend well with many things! It's a keeper, for sure!
