Londontown Cherry Cola Essentials Kit

This color is not a cherry cola, a warm/chocolatey brown at best. The color shown on the cardboard casing/photos is not the color of the bottle inside. I compared irl and there isn't a hint of red in this bottle. I would return, but I like the clip and mini bag enough to keep. I unfortunately will probably throw away the polish, I hope they try this again since the color that's advertised looks beautiful.

I've been eyeing this set for a while and am glad I finally picked it up! The cherry cola/burgundy color is so pretty and on trend for fall. The bag is small, but adorable (I love the cherry charm!), and still big enough to hold the polish and file, or the polish and base + top coat (not included in the set). The hair clip is pretty small - I haven't tried it out yet, but I know it will only be big enough for a half updo for me (I have very long hair); I do like the color of it, though. The polish/Perfecting Nail Veil itself is very nice - even one coat gives a pretty, sheer wash of color, but it can be built up to a darker and more dramatic opaque color if you prefer. The color is exactly what I wanted, and I like the brush - very easy to apply. I used Londontown's base + high gloss top coat, and it lasted about a week on me before starting to get a few chips. Picture is of 3 coats of the polish. Overall, I'm pleased with this set, and think it would make a cute gift as well. I recommend!

This color is pretty and reminds me of cherry Coca Cola which, by the way, is not red. I like that the color is buildable and the size is actually good for me.

so I too, was a little surprised at how small this set was. however, the slip being smaller than a normal size kitsch clip was actually really great. I've been wanting a smaller claw clip like this. the bag was ALOT smaller than I thought. barely big enough to hold its contents. the nail file honestly, even though it's small, is the perfect size to go in my purse. so no complaints there. the nail polish...oh the nail polish. it's beautiful yes. but it is notttt anywhere neat red. or cherry cola. the bottle itself looks brown. purply brown. and after applying, it stayed a purply brown and then when a flash hits it it has a slight red color to it. it is very sheer and it took about 3 coats to get the desired effect I was hoping for. overall, very pretty. but if you are hoping for a true cherry cola color, I don't think this is it. the bag and the clip are more cherry cola color than anything else.

I'll be the first to say, I LOVE Londontown products (especially their nail concealers). The nail veil is a sheer, cool, burgundy that leans brown, and not so much the reddish berry color the photos suggest (more brownish than the bag, clip and file). As the previous reviewer said, the bag is very small (3x5 inches), and barely fits the items it comes with. I also agree that the file would be very nice if only it was longer than 3.5 inches. The hair clip is cute, but there are many like it I can buy separately. I may exchange this set for the polish only, since I don't know if the tiny bag and file are worth it.
