Not A Blind Purchase Fragrance
The title says everything you need to know about this fragrance. It's not for everyone. It's fresh, but not in a room spray or laundry detergent type fresh. It's also nothing like any other Chanel fragrance. It's not girly, and I wouldn't call it feminine. I purchased mine at a Chanel boutique, and if you've ever been to a Chanel flagship store or boutique, it has its own "smell", the typical roses and powder smell. I do like Chanel no. 5, Coco and Chance Tendre, so while picking up a handbag I decided to pick up the Fraiche edt twist and spray x3. I suppose my senses were in overload from the scent of the boutique and the fragrance counter, because I don't particularly care for this scent now that I'm at home. I don't dislike it, but I don't particularly like it, either. It could very well be classed as a unisex fragrance. This is nothing like any other Chanel fragrance, so if you like Chanel fragrances, this one is definety a BEWARE. This is definitely not a blind purchase type fragrance.
Lovely, fresh and youthful
I keep seeing reviews that this perfume is too masculine and while I don't agree, I understand why some wpuld categorize it that way. I don't like traditionally feminine fragrances that are powdery, floral, warm, sweet, and I especially do not like gourmand fragrances. For reference, I don't like Burberry Goddess or any other Chanel fragrance and my favorites are Creed Silver Mountain Water and Virgin Island Water so my fragrance taste is more unisex. Eau Fraiche fits right in with my fresh, unisex fragrance preference while also being unique. It's more citrusy without veering into room spray territory and perfect for summer. To me it's definitely a feminine fragrance. I got the EDT, which doesn't last as long but I don't like to leave a vapor trail and don't mind reapplying, if needed.

i usually have a problem with chanel because all of their perfumes are way too powdery for me, but this one is PERFECT. its sweet and extremely refreshing and makes me feel so clean and luxurious! it was an investment purchase and im so glad i went with this one over the new perfume! definitely overlooked!! DEF RECOMMENDED!!!
My signature scent for a decade
I adore the chance line, but this specific fragrance has been my go to every day scent. Ive been wearing this over 10 years and it never gets old being told how great i always smell!
