WORTH IT

This is my second Olivia Garden XL Pro Vent Paddle brush. Never reviewed it the first time, but I think I need to help others make a good decision. My hair: Long (mid back length), wavy and semi-curly, extremely frizzy, crazy volume. I wash my hair, blow dry it and straighten it every day (I know, n...

Short-lived

This brush did a great job drying my very thick hair. The vents as well as the large paddle shortened the time I would normally have to spend to blowdry my hair. It was gentle on the head. Unfortunately, the bristles did not last long! Very disappointed in that. First I started noticing that so...

Pass on this brush

The ends of the bristles started breaking off after 6 months. The end of the bristles are very sharp and painful whiteout the tip. The bristles are also too far apart and it makes my hair look stingy instead of smooth.

Terrible, choose another

I admit this brush looked like it would be great, however it was not. The tips on the bristles come off so quickly, then you are left with sharp plastic scratching your scalp and damaging your hair. My hair is medium thickness and fine texture, so it is not like I am making this brush work that hard. My recommendation is to spend a little more and get one that lasts longer than a couple months.

Bad!

I have bought these brushes for a few years now, & after about a year or so the tips of the bristles would start to come off & I'd pull them out & continue to use until too many were gone. It wasn't too big of a deal since I got a year's usage out of them. However, this last one didn't even last 2 months when the tips started coming off & scratching my scalp! It's horrible how fast & how many have come off already. The whole center section has had to be pulled out to save my scalp. At this point it's barely a usable brush. Extremely disappointing to spend so much on what is marketed as a quality brush. Definitely moving on to another brand. Bummer.

What happened to the quality of this brush?

I have used this brush for years, and they used to last a VERY long time! Decided it was time to buy a new one. The tips of the bristles on the new one started coming off within a month. Thought it was a fluke, so I purchased another one...same thing. The bristles actually scratch and hurt without the tips on them, so it makes the brush pretty much unusable. Looking at the recent reviews, others are experiencing the same thing. What changed? Incredibly disappointing, and I will not buy this brand again.

Great brush if you only need one for a month

This brush started out amazing, completely unbeatable. It's been a month since I purchased it and all the pinheads are falling off. It scratches my scalp and hurts, I've had cheaper brushes that lasted much longer. Really bummed about such a great brush being so poorly made.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
