Most Helpful Positive Review Great Brush!!! It took a few days for this brush to win me over, but it DID! I bought the gigantic 4.25" one and I LOVE the movement and shine it brings my hair! And the volume is GREAT! I've been using the Spornette Prego 3.5" for the last couple years. The Spornette grabs my hair more easily, but once I got used to this brush, I liked it way better. My hair is shinier and it's gentler on my hair (I find way less hair in the bristles of this brush vs. my Spornette.) I have naturally wavy hair down past my chest and I don't clip it up into sections or anything -- I use about 5 squirts of b&b thickening spray, blow dry it straight with this brush, then finish with b&b brillantine for that cute slept-in look. My secret to blow drying is to start with the brush on top of the hair and blow dry from underneath. I grab sections of my hair with the bristles at the roots, then I pull my hair up and back as I dry it from root to tip. This gives you amazing volume!!! Then when it's almost dry I switch and blow dry normally with the brush underneath the hair and the blow dryer blowing on the hair STRAIGHT down and I'll finish with a cool blast. This part helps combat frizziness. My hair always looks smooth and fabulous! I love this brush!
Most Helpful Critical Review Ouch! I bought the 1 3/8 and 2 1/8 inch brushes for my thin hair. For the longer parts of my hair, I usually use both hands to role my hair around the brush. My right hand holds the handle of the brush and my left hand guides the tip of the barrel. All of the other Goody brand brushed I have owned in the past have a cool piece of plastic at the end of the bristle barrel that I can touch without burning my fingers. These Olivia Garden brushes don't have that feature. The end of the bristle barrel gets hotter than a curling iron and I have repeatedly burned my fingers. I would not buy this product again. I will stick with the usual Goody brand.

I am pretty sure I have scratched my scalp with this brush. The bristles have a blunt edge that not only rips and tears hair, it does the same to my head :( . Buyer beware!
Excellent hairbrush 5

I hardly write reviews but I had to comment on this hairbrush. I've never blown out my hair with a round brush. This brush is excellent. It was easy to handle and I didn't have any frizz after using the brush. A huge plus is my hair had lots of volume and big beautiful curls at the ends. I have really long hair and it didn't take long at all for me to blow out my hair with this brush. I highly recommend it! (I'm a beginner so I know the more I use it, the better I will get at using this brush)

I was excited about getting this hairbrush.
The size was fine. The very hard plastic bristles ended up tangled in my hair. Scratching my scalp not in the good way. Cheaply made and it looks cheap. Made In China
Grips my thick hair 5

I have fine, thick hair, a chin length bob and this brush works like a dream! After buying countless expensive and cheap brushes that would not grip my hair, I tried this one after reading the reviews. LOVE! It's lightweight, makes my hair smooth and grips and holds my hair. I'll definitely only buy this brand from now on. You will love too!!

Great brush . Worth the extra dollars. No crease in the handle so my hair doesn't get caught in it
Fits all my brush needs 5

My favorite brush used to be the Chi but it would snag my hair in the handle. This brush is now my Favorite. The bristles are stiff enough to hold my thick hair, the handle is smooth and easy to grip, with no places to snag my hair. The ceramic barrel holds the heat to create a great style!
Love it for my thick hair! 5

I opted for the largest size in order to speed up my blow drying time and I have been nothing but impressed. I'm able to blow dry my hair much faster with this brush and it gives me the perfect blowout! Get this brush!!!
Great brush! 5

This brush from Olivia Garden is awesome. In the past I have purchased another expensive brand only to have handles break. This brush is constructed so that the handle is one piece.
The Best Hairbrush I've Ever Owned! 5
Skiamy from Boston, MA
I have owned similar, more expensive round, ceramic/tourmaline brushes that I purchased from the salon. The rubber grips on those handles would slip and fall off. I was looking for new hairbrushes, and saw these at Ulta. They come in a variety of sizes. I ordered one in a large diameter for the top layers, and one in a thinner diameter to curl the bottom layer and back of my hair under. I have a modern take on a classic, angled bob cut, and the two brushes made styling my hair super fast and easy. My hair was smooth and I barely needed to flat iron to finish. I read other reviews saying the brush didn't grab hair. My hair is thick and course, and both size brushes held my hair without slipping or grabbing. These brushes may not work for super fine, thin hair, but for me they are perfect!

Purchased two different sizes for my medium length, fine, thin wavy hair. My curl pattern is 2B & 2C. I have been using a very old Olivia Garden 100% boar bristle brush, and in general like it, but it was not giving me the volume desired.
First few passes of the Ceramic+ Ion, I was blown away at how fast my hair was drying. I hate blow drying my hair. My bathroom gets very hot and I stop frequently to stand in front of my fan. Volume was amazing. However, as I worked through my hair which is only in 6 small sections for my entire head I started noticing my hair was not getting smooth. The section dries so quickly I don't get a chance to straighten it. Mind you, I don't like my hair stick straight so that was not an expectation. By the time I was done I kept rewetting my hair to obtain some measure of smoothness. I also noticed the ends of my hair are extremely dry. With the boar brush I usually start at the ends first, then go to the top and back through the ends for curl. I did not get that chance as my hair was already really dried.
Unfortunately, will be returning.
I'll probably still have this brush in 20 years! 5

I have naturally curly hair that I've bleached and dyed pink. I have to blow it out since since the curl doesn't survive the bleaching process. I love this brush. It's easy to hold and it helps my hair dry faster when I use it. I'm hair is more shiny when I use it!
What a difference a brush makes! 5
Long red hair from Va
I had been using the ae 4" brush since a master stylist at a salon recommended it 13 years ago. Who knew brushes getter made over time? Lol. What I didn't like about my old brush was that the rubber handle would get hair stuck and pulled out and I had some rewards $$ so bought this one to replace it. And wow!!! I got the 4 1/2 inch ( I have long wavy red hair) and This one grabs the hair SO perfectly making it easy to blow dry straight and with good body but also no catching or pulling out too. The old brush went in the trash. I also love the new ghd helios I'm using it with which I found gives a way better end result than the supersonic (I wrote reviews on both)
I would buy again 5

This is the best brush I've ever purchased that can gently grab my fine hair when blow drying. It smoothed my frizzy hair and was easy to style my shoulder length Bob.

I've been wanting a nicer hairbrush to dry my hair with and this is it! It was my first time learning to use one and it was easy. It made my hair super smooth and shiny. Well worth my purchase.

I love the design on these brushes. Comfortable to hold, vented and seem to help dry quickly. Most I have ever spent on a brush and worth it!
Waste of money 1
Best hair finder from Houston
Bought this to use with my helios ghd dryer and it did not add shine or smooth my hair. Does not do a good job of grabbing the hair. My hair looked better using a regular brush with the dryer.

I've used this brush for over 7+ years. My grandmother, who used to be a hairdresser, actually gave it to me as a gift. It NEVER fails me. Brings a gorgeous shine and curl to my thin, wavy hair.
