Great Brush!!! It took a few days for this brush to win me over, but it DID! I bought the gigantic 4.25" one and I LOVE the movement and shine it brings my hair! And the volume is GREAT! I've been using the Spornette Prego 3.5" for the last couple years. The Spornette grabs my hair more easily, but once I got used to this brush, I liked it way better. My hair is shinier and it's gentler on my hair (I find way less hair in the bristles of this brush vs. my Spornette.) I have naturally wavy hair down past my chest and I don't clip it up into sections or anything -- I use about 5 squirts of b&b thickening spray, blow dry it straight with this brush, then finish with b&b brillantine for that cute slept-in look. My secret to blow drying is to start with the brush on top of the hair and blow dry from underneath. I grab sections of my hair with the bristles at the roots, then I pull my hair up and back as I dry it from root to tip. This gives you amazing volume!!! Then when it's almost dry I switch and blow dry normally with the brush underneath the hair and the blow dryer blowing on the hair STRAIGHT down and I'll finish with a cool blast. This part helps combat frizziness. My hair always looks smooth and fabulous! I love this brush!
Ouch! I bought the 1 3/8 and 2 1/8 inch brushes for my thin hair. For the longer parts of my hair, I usually use both hands to role my hair around the brush. My right hand holds the handle of the brush and my left hand guides the tip of the barrel. All of the other Goody brand brushed I have owned in the past have a cool piece of plastic at the end of the bristle barrel that I can touch without burning my fingers. These Olivia Garden brushes don't have that feature. The end of the bristle barrel gets hotter than a curling iron and I have repeatedly burned my fingers. I would not buy this product again. I will stick with the usual Goody brand.
HAD TO CUT BRUSH OUT OF 3 Y/O DAUGHTER'S HAIR 1

DO NOT BUY THIS BRUSH IF YOU WANT TO PRESERVE YOUR HAIR!!!!! WORST BRUSH EVER.
If given the option, I would've rated this overpriced, defective, and extremely damaging hairbrush ZERO STARS. I should've trusted my gut after reading all of the polarizing/conflicting reviews… This brush became compeltely stuck in my toddler's hair right before her first dance recital. She has very fine toddler-like hair and our hairdryer is always set on warm with a shot of cool to keep it from burning her sensitive scalp. I sectioned off a normal amount of hair to roll the brush through and began blowing it out (mere seconds), however I wasnt able to roll the brush through her hair, in fact it was completely stuck, nearly glued to her hair and all the way up to her scalp. I tried for several minutes to pull her hair out as she was wiggling in pain. It was so bad I had to cut her hair near the scalp in order to successfully remove the brush. The hair that I was able to pull from the brush was badly damaged and tangled beyond repair. It's abundantly clear any positive reviews of this brush are indeed fraudulent! Such an unfortunate feeling when consumer reviews simply cannot be trusted.
Handled my medium/thick, wavy hair with ease 5

3.5" brush worked GREAT for my med/thick wavy hair. I have to use a smoothing serum to tackle frizz/kinks but with this brush, I didn't have to use any products at all. Bristles are sturdy and provide enough tension to pull hair smooth when drying.

This is a great brush for thin hair. It easily grabs my thin hair & gives me the lift I want.
