Most Helpful Positive Review Awesome product! I love to try new things, and some days I don't feel like straightening, waving, or curling. I hate the heavy weight and crunchiness of gels and sprays, I like a more natural look. I tried this product and love it! Unlike other comments, my hair is not stick at all, or frizzy, or greasy looking. It doesn't feel like I have product in my hair a lot all and it does give me my beachy hair look that I get when I actually go to the beach. It is so cheap and works very well!
Most Helpful Critical Review Did not work I have straight, thick Asian hair with a slight wave to it, and I am sad to say that this product did not work for me. I tried applying it on both damp and dry hair, and would scrunch my hair after applying. I did not see much of a difference, my hair looked a little bit thicker and like it had more body to it, but the change was subtle. This product smells amazing, like coconut. It did not work on my hair, but if your hair has more natural waves in it I think it would work.

First of all, it took me like 10 min just to figure out the cap piece when trying to open. The product also is just way too greasy. It just makes my hair feel heavy and greasy, didn't even texturize my hair at all. Will not buying again and will probably just throw the whole bottle away
It works well, but it stinks. 3
N from Missouri
I really like the way it makes my hair look, but I really do not like the way it smells. It reminds me of something, but I just can't put my finger on it. Some kind of drink I smelled as a kid, maybe? I can't decide if the smell is worth it.
Not my favorite 2
Luv from WA
This product isn't that great, smells a little bit like play-dough. My hair is naturally straight but when I swim in salt water it gets so curly, I wanted to recreate but instead of making my hair curly this just kind of made me look like I had bed head. Wouldn't recommend.
greasy! 2

it's an okay product but that's it… nothing special. if i knew it wasn't good i wouldn't have purchased it.
Great for curly hair 5
Crazy Curly from Chicago, IL
Always use it when I hop out of the shower. Tried some of the more expensive sea salts and I keep coming back to Beach Babe.
Definitely gives volume 5
Just a midwestern girl from Ohio
I love this inexpensive product and would use this any day. I happened to have Ouai texturizing spray laying around my house and used it and it didn't do anything. I then used this product to get the grit and volume and it delivered. Folks you don't have to spend a fortune on these overpriced products to get what you need. I use the spray for volume and not waves.
Too greasy. 3
Claire from MA
With sea salt spray, my goal is to add volume to my roots. This spray weighed them down and made them look greasy instead. Bummer.
For reference: My hair is 2B, fine, high porosity, medium density,
Great on Dry Hair 5
karkar from michigan
I've used this for years and have found that it only works well when my hair is dry. I also spray it into my hand so that I can target the right areas and just scrunch it in. My hair is wavy with it being too straight some days.

Doesn't make my hair feel soft. However , I get the best results.
Very happy 5
Cml5386 from Philadelphia
I have naturally wavy/curly hair and was looking for a light product that would give my hair some curls when I leave it to air dry but not be crunchy like a gel and this works great. My curls are soft when my hair dries and they hold well.
LOVE IT 5

I like it
love it 4

did I get a different product than everyone else? I think it smells terrible but really works to help make separate curls and waves. I pair it with the chi keratin line and that helps with the smell which is the only reason it's not 5 stars in my book
Worst hair product I've ever used 1
Kelly from Atlanta, GA
I have hair that's a combination of curly, wavy, and straight (yes, your worst nightmare). This stayed sticky for days. Made my hair frizzy and gross. Absolutely terrible. Didn't help the straight/wavy parts be any more textured. Now that I see that you can add an image, I should've taken a picture of my hair.
Smells Great, love it! 5
Sara D from San Antonio
Seriously cannot stop smelling my hair when I use this product. It creates kind of a mess in finer textured hair like mine and weighs it down a little though. But you get what you pay for
A year round staple for my wavy hair 5
Glam Tam from Beaufort SC
I discovered this product years ago & it is a great spray & scrunch product whether I use it on wet or dry hair to touch up at end of day! not sticky
Great product. Great price. 5
DeAnn from Dayton
This really helps my hair hold curl. Love it.
Good for the price 4
Gracie from FL
this is my go to texturing spray. affordable, when used correctly makes my hair stay, smells amazing, and feels pretty good. once again though. you need to use It correctly.
hair so stiff 1
Margie from FL
I didn't like the stiffness of the hair. It felt so hard and not natural. My hair is wavy almost curly. I like products that look natural and soft when it dries and this is total opposite.
Terrible product 1
Zara from New York
after spraying this product on my damp hair it made it extremely sticky, tacky later i ended up with dry knotted hair that was impossible to brush. The spray bottle is terrible too, does not spray on nice, just gives out long steams that only touch some parts of your hair. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
makes hair knotted 3
Mish from Frederick, Maryland
This spray definitely smells like the beach and gives that beach vibe. It didn't really give waves to my hair though, which was the whole point. The product made my hair really nappy and dried it out.
Works! 4
Curly hair from USA
Have curly/wavy hair works very well definitely helps make the hair more curly then wavy! Love the smell. Only complaint is it does make your hair feel a little dry (to be expected) I pair with a moisturizer spray to help the feel.
Did it actually spray onto my hair? 1
Leoneesa from San Jose, CA
Bummer! I am no stranger to sea salt sprays. This is not a sea salt spray! It felt like there was zero product. I even over sprayed the first time just so I could know what I was working with, and nothing! Where's the texture?? Complete waste of money!
Depends on your hair 4
Taber from Wisconsin
My hair is naturally half straight, half slightly wavy, my step daughter has naturally wavy hair, almost curly. This texturized my hair well enough, somewhat of a beachy look, but this worked great on her hair and she looked like she was at the beach earlier in the day. I won't buy this for myself, but she loves it [especially because she hates drying her hair right now] so I'll happily buy it for her again!
Ok but nothing amazing 3
Wendijo from Fairfield
I have medium long, thin hair. This product did nothing more to enhance or texturize my hair.
two stars because of the scent 2
Notorious Pink from Bay Area, CA
This smells amazing, if you're like me and love sweet-smelling products. However... "texturizing"? More like drying. My hair is fine, prone to knots, yet very soft and smooth thanks to my salon keratin treatments -- but this made it dry and knotted every time I used it. Unfortunately it's gonna have to go in the garbage.
