I've used this salicylic acid clear gel for years with great results, but the new version is completely different. Right after applying it, my skin started to sting, something that never happened with the previous formula. Within hours, I developed a visible burn on my forehead that will likely leave a mark. I have experience using salicylic acid products, so this wasn't due to overuse or sensitive skin. The formula has clearly changed beyond just the new packaging, and it feels far harsher and more irritating than before. I'm very disappointed that a product I once trusted now causes damage. If you used the old formula, patch test before using this one—it's not the same.
