I received the Lancôme Absolue Soft Body Balm from Lancôme through BzzAgent program for free in exchange for my honest review. I've always been a fan of the Lancôme Absolue line of products, but I only bought face product. I've never tried body products because to be honest, they're kinda expensive to use on your body. This was the perfect chance for me to try out Absolue Soft Body Balm before committing to spending a lot of money on body product. My first expression when I opened the box was the iconic soft rose smells of Lancôme. It's a signature scent of Lancôme. I have very dry skin, and recently due to stress and dehydration my skin looked aged. I used the body balm for one week and it already showed improvement. My skin appeared softer. Another thing I loved about this body balm was that it went on smoothly on your skin without leaving a stickiness feel, which I absolutely disliked. Using this body balm, I didn't need to use perfume because it smelled so good already. After finishing up this product, I'd definitely willing to spend money to buy it again because it is totally worth every cent. Thanks Lancôme and Bzzagent.

I absolutely love this body balm. I have very dry skin, but I don't like to use products that are very heavy or greasy, and this product is the perfect balance between rich and lightweight. I've been using in the morning after my shower and my skin feels soft, moisturized and glowy all day. It is a lightweight formula that is very easy to apply without leaving your skin oily. And I like the subtle scent too. I will definitely repurchase it.

My review is overdue but I really wanted to ensure I used the product long enough to see an impact. Let me tell you, upon first receiving it and opening the box, it's a beautifully beautiful packaged balm in a gold quality jar. Once unsealed and open you can smell how beautifully light and airy the fragrance is. It's a pretty soft rose scent, it's not too heavily perfumed and doesn't make your skin feel sticky. The balm itself is terrific. Like I said in the beginning, I wanted to actually give this product some time to use for an honest review. The balm itself is instantly moisture packed, I've been using on my main body parts and with it being summer, I'm a bit drier than usual but with the Absolue Soft Body Balm my skin felt soft & supple. While testing the balm out on my body, I also started to use it on my under eye area because it's so supple and loved it for this use as well. I don't think it's light enough to use on my whole face but it was beautiful on my under eyes. I would highly recommend the Soft Body Balm if it's within your budget or you'd like to treat yourself to a bit of luxury in a jar.

Moisture-wise, this product is fine. Absorption is nice, formula isn't too sticky but also rich. However, my main concerns are: 1. The scent. It's not for me. It's a fairly light rosy floral but i think it could be even more subtle. My preference is unscented. 2. The container. I suppose it feels elegant to get the richer lotions from tubs, I know most of the high end brands do it. But it's so heavy it's wasteful, and too large for only 6.4 ounces.
