Loving it
Fine texture looks natural and evens skin tone. Keeps the shine down but doesn't make my skin look or feel dry. Choosing the right color just by looking at a pic is a bit tricky. It would be nice to have a little guidance in product description, such as warm, cool, neutral. For super fair skin etc.

TERRIBLE SMELL
coverage is okay but the smell of this profduct nauseating. wish i could get a refund cause this is going to waste :( i love essence so i'm hoping they fix their formula i would love to continue supporting this brand.

Shades are darker in person than in the picture!

Love this as a finishing powder
This product truly gives a soft, blurred effect as a powder. I apply lightly with a brush to my cheeks after I've applied my foundation and blush. Technically I apply to the area between the nose and cheeks where there is no blush. It doesn't work for me as a foundation because I prefer more coverage, but as a powder, I love it! I use the shade "tan" when I don't have a tan and it's perfect. I'm not dark or olive skin toned but it works great for me. Don't be fooled by the shade name.

I've been using this powder foundation for 3 years and wish I wish I had tried it sooner. I'm 59, combo skin zones, and live in FL. I love how it last all day and doesn't run or separate. I always finish with a setting spray and it hold up to the humidity. Wish there were more color options.
