Most Helpful Positive Review Great product huge learning curve I received this product complimentary for testing purposes in medium brown. I have sparse and thin eyebrow hair and liked to use this product with my dip brow pomade to help draw in a few extra hairs in the beginning area of my eyebrow. The pen has individual hairs like a paintbrush and has a very precise and flexible tip. It can give you a microbladed look but it is a little hard at first. To get it to look natural you have to make a ton of very small light strokes so it takes a little bit of time. Additionally, learning to have a light hand will make it hard to use at first. If you do not have a steady hand or do not have a lot of time, this product is not for you. On the days I did have time to use it, my brows looked great and so much more natural then when I used just dip brow. It lasted all day but by the end of the day, if my brows touched anything the pen would wipe right off/smudge. I think this product is really amazing just not for my skin type and eyebrow needs - which is why I took off 1 Star. This would be a 5 star product for someone with fuller brows and dryer skin.
Tip - make sure if you store this upright like in a brush holder you store it tip side down. Otherwise the ink will settle at the bottom and have a hard time getting good pigment.
Most Helpful Critical Review Works on skin where there's no hair I love that this is the only brow pen I've found that works on bare skin. Most need hair to cling to. I do not have brow hair, so this is perfect in that aspect. However, the colors are so dark, they are almost unusable for my hair and skin tone. I started with Taupe, but it was too dark. Then went to blonde, the lightest of their colors, and it is still way too dark. As a matter of fact, it doesn't look any different than the taupe. So this is very disappointing because it looks fake. If I had hair on my brows, it may not be as stark or fake looking. Still, if that's not your problem and you can handle dark colors, it's great.
Reviewed by 573 customers It's a good eyeliner! 3

I got the shade ebony and I found it to be a little too pigmented and it was hard to make thin hair strokes on my eyebrows. It is a great eyeliner though!
Looks so natural! Good for fluffy brows 5

Some people are rating it one star and saying the pen is too thick. I thought that at first, but it all matters with the pressure and angle you use and now I'm a pro at it. I used to use brow wiz but could never get that realistic hair look until I got this pen and now I'm never going back. TIP: if it comes out too harshly, wipe while taking still wet or brush it out and it looks like it's your real eyebrow hair! This is my favorite eyebrow product now!
Love it 5

Great brow pen with the ability to add in lifelike hair quite easily. Looks very natural. Love it.
The color is odd 1

I do not like this product in comparison with the brow pencils. I bought taupe, and it does not match the other taupe brow pencils, so I can't really use it as the color is very odd on my skin/hair color. Sad I wasted so much money on this item.
Too much like an eyeliner 1

I like the idea of a pen, but it went on like eyeliner even when you do the lightest strokes it still doesn't look "hairlike"
the tip is a bit too thick 3
silverexxxx from Los Angeles
the pros: the product stays on the skin for a very long time, no smudging
cons: the tip of the pen is too thick, the urban decay brow pen is thinner and in my opinion better
Horrible 1

The color is too dark compared to the pen. Hard to control the fluid flow.
Great buy 5

Super easy and looks Wayyy more natural than the way I use to pencil in my brows.
Don't sleep on the this.... it's fantastic! 5

Omg.... this is absolutely the best brow pen I have ever used. I will never go without this. Use very light strokes to create the look of hair. It really fills my brows in nice and natural looking. If it doesn't work for you, you just need practice. But don't give up
Love this for a natural brow! 5

This product is everything I was hoping it would be! Can give you those fine hairlike strokes for a micro bladed and natural effect. The only thing I would suggest is doing a shade lighter than you think. I usually use medium brown in all other AB products this will apply darker.

I have very sparse brows. I didn't expect this to work alone, as another popular brand's brow pencil (with ink on one side) doesn't work well alone for me. However, the shade Dark Brown of this ABH ink brow is perfect. Identical to my brows. If it were off color, it wouldn't work so well alone. I typically use a fine brow pencil first but if I'm in a hurry and can't use 4 or 5 different products on my brows, this will do just fine. I like it and think it's worth trying! The dark brown is exactly the color it says it is...dark brown. (Not purple or green like some shades in some brands end up appearing to be.) I don't know how well this would last in the summer but it's been perfectly fine for me in this icy cold weather. I think it's worth the price and the 5 stars.
HORRIBLE 1
Cassie from KCMO
Absolutely the worst brow product I have ever used. The taupe is nowhere near the color they describe and is instead a dark reddish brown color. I don't know how people use this because you can't even make fine lines with it.
Great brow pen 4
Shelbie from Mesa AZ
I really loved this brow pen. It makes application so simple. The color doesn't quite match my eyebrows, so I have to go a little more light handed with it, but it still looks flawless!
I love that it stays put all day as well! There's no smearing or anything that happens.
I would buy it again 4

Loved it, last for a long time
Way too dark 2
Hilsie77 from VA
I had to exchange this for one 3 shades lighter. Don't Let the color sticker fool you. It's runs very dark to the point of looking painted on and unnatural.
Will not be buying again. 2

It makes the most realistic looking hair like strokes, but the color was way off. I should have listened to other comments. The taupe is way too warm.
Love it 5

I bought it as a gift for my daughter because it's the only one she uses and I know she loves it.
I will buy every time I run out 5

I love the way it goes on I love everything about it...
Jury is still out.... will take lots of practice 3

So....I've been wanting to try brow pens for some time. I've used ABH brow products for ages, so decided to give this a whirl after one of my fav beauty you tubers demo'ed it. The tip is very thin and does give you the ability to make fine, hairlike strokes. I've been using mine daily for a week now and I'm still not able to achieve the hairlike strokes I so admired on the you tuber. Go figure, right? That said, I'm going to keep practicing. Hopefully this will be like drawing winged liner and one day it will all just come magically together! For me, perfecting this look is going to take practice! Definitely not for anyone who wants quick and easy brows. This takes patience, a light touch, and steady hand.
My one brow product for the rest of my life! 5
Stephanie from Tulsa, Ok
I have a scar in my eyebrow and even filled in with pencil it never looks right.
This goes on perfectly, and makes my eyebrows look perfect!! Completely fills in the scar and looks natural!
It dried out :( 3
Corina from Utah
At first, it was very difficult to use as it was super wet and messy, but then it dried out really quick. I think I used it maybe 8x before it started to dry out, and now I have to work extra hard to get any product out of it. I'm so sad I spent nearly $30 on a product that I barely used.
GARBAGE 2
Laura from Riverton Utah.
I was so excited about this, but I'm unbelievably disappointed. It's way too pigmented, the taupe is more of a dark brown, and it clumps together on my skin after it dries. The strokes aren't natural at all.
