Overnight Deeply Hydrating Face Mask: After cleansing at night, use fingertips and apply a healthy layer of the mask onto clean skin. Gently massage onto skin until texture transforms from balm to oil, allowing the formula to melt into skin. Pat excess into skin, neck and chest and do not rinse. Allow to work overnight, and in the morning, follow your normal regimen. Kiehl's recommends using this overnight face mask 3x per week.
Gentle Cleansing Balm: Use fingertips to gently massage a small amount onto dry skin. Wipe off with dry face cloth. For a deeper clean and hydration, leave on for 60 seconds before removing.
15-Minute Treatment: For deeper hydration on dry areas needing extra nourishment, apply a visible layer of formula on skin and leave on for 15 minutes. Tissue off any remaining formula.

Not sure if I got a bad batch
I'm giving this three stars because it works great. But the smell is absolutely revolting. It says it's supposed to be fragrance free; mine smells like burning plastic. Maybe a QC issue? Going to try another tub because I really want this to work.

And with this I unfortunately just can't get past the consistency - it's very thick, almost like petroleum jelly and just sits on the surface of my skin. I'm used to sleeping on my side but once this is on I just dare not as it will end up all over my pillowcase. Have also tried using a really tiny amount but awoke to dry patches/flakiness which means it wasn't enough, yet any more is too much. Can't seem to find a middle ground with this one! Ingredients-wise there isn't a great deal in here, it's basic and simple stuff - good for those who have skin sensitivities and have to avoid many ingredients but not for those who are looking for a state of the art formulation, which this sure isn't! Definitely more suited to drier or very dehydrated skin types. So Greasy!
I don't know how you can keep this on overnight. I've tried and it's like going to bed with butter smeared on my face, even when I just use a tiny but. I wake up with grease spots on my pillow and dog hair stuck to my face. Yuck.
I'm shocked
This works so well, especially if you use prescription retinol this is a lifesaver. I am so shocked by the reviews for one star and people saying it smells bad. It's literally unscented it smells like unscented lotion are people used to super fragrancy things on their face? Literally overnight. My skin texture was so much better, I've been suffering from flakiness ever since starting prescription retinol's. You need to buy this. I used to slug with cerave, ultra healing balm, but was so sticky. It always left a film on my pillows, and this is like the perfect amount of moisture without all the sticky mess.

Too think for me, not calming at all. More like sealing your skin with Vaseline texture. Might be great for extra dry skin(I am combination skin late 30s) got it returned successfully and the lady at ulta was really helpful.
