Works well with my hair, but I did take this on vacation with me and tried to use it after getting out of the pool. My hair isn't typically very tangly, but when I'm in the pool it gets a little knotted. The bristles on this are pretty flexible, so it made it a little harder to get through the tangles. I like that it's gentle, but it took a while to get it through my hair after being in the ocean and pool.

I was really hoping to like this brush, but I do not recommend this for someone with my hair type. I didn't realize the brush bristles were widely spaced apart. I let my mom use it, and she loved it. She, on the other hand, has long, beautiful, thick curly hair, and this brush detangled her hair better than any brush she has used. The scent is subtle. That is what i really enjoyed.
