To Straighten: Hold Iron horizontally. Clamp hair at the root and slowly pull through to the ends, slightly beveling toward the face to prevent static
To Curl: Hold iron vertically. Clamp hair midway through the section, then twist the iron away from your face 180 degrees and pull forward through to the ends.

I have tried to find the perfect iron and this is it!
Temp Gauge stopped working and Burned my hair!
Ive had this straightener for almost 2 years and i use it nearly everyday. Today i went to turn it on and the temp screen flashed off and then came back on displayed the temp of 270 degrees. I began to straighten my hair and the actual temperature was well above 270! My fine hair burned immediately and is now super dry and frizzy! The straighter basically fried itself and no longer turns on at all.

Was my favorite straighter but the life of it was very short. After a year it just stop working and this has never happened to me before! Any other time my straighter have worked for many years so it's disappointing and not worth the money!
Disappointed
I bought this flat iron on 3/9/24. The lady at Ulta sold me on this it and I was so exicted to get it home and use it. And I loved it at first. My hair was so shiny and it iron went through my hair with ease. But today when I went to use it I set the temp to my normal 390 but after 15 minutes it turned off. I went to turn it back on and it didnt. Strange but I let it rest for a few I came back to try again and it turned on but now I couldnt increase the temperature. So I unplugged it and I couldnt get it to turn back on. I'm so frustrated with this since I've only had it a month. I will be calling the store first because its almost a two hour drive there. I dont want to go all the way there if they wont refund or let me exchange for another brand.
Save your money
It doesn't grip your hair enough to get sleek straight hair. Doesnt get to hot even at 450. Pulls my hair out.
