The scent is overpowering and the scent doesn't go away. The hold is just okay. It is on par with other pastes and waxes. The one thing that i like about my gifted by briogeo hair care Style + Treat:tm: Yuzu + Plum Hair Styling Sculpting Cream is that it's great for my curly hair.
