Stay stocked!
I love this gel pot! I have used it as a eyeliner & loved it but recently I have been using on my brows with a small angled brush. I have used many brow pommades & have no complaints, well not fond of ELF. This doubles as either. I haven't had any issues with it being hard to work with or hard to a...

Cracked and Dried Out
This gel pot liner used to be a legendary budget option, but today's formula is dry and barely usable. It worked the first use, but it was mediocre. I used a very fine eyeliner brush, and the formula skipped and crumbled. I wanted to try tightlining, but I could not with it. The next time I opened i...

Possible quality control issue?
I was excited to try this but upon inspecting you could see the product separating from the sides of it's container. Sign of drying - when I dipped my brush I had to pass it a couple times to pick up any product and it applied like a dried out liquid liner (sheerness) Super bummer and hopefully it gets fixed.
I'll pass on a second purchase
I gave it three stars because once you get it on, it does actually stay without budging. The downside is the formula is very stiff, even with multiple types of brushes it's difficult to glide on. The formula when new had already shrunken in the pot.
Such a bummer
I've used both high-end ans drugstore brands that all work fairly well, but this is the forst that was horrible. After 2 attempts this one is getting tossed, the pigmentation is a joke for eyeler. I wear gel eyeliner daily, it's my go-to so its nice to have an affordable option for daily wear but this doesnt cut it for that at all.
I love this eyeliner! I'm hooked it's the best!!
I have used high end eyeliners that didn't stay on! This one does it's the best!
Finally
Essence used to make the best drugstore gel eyeliner, but discontinued it a handful of years ago for some reason, but thankfully they're back in the game! I've been using this daily for about 2 weeks and so far I'm pleased. It's very creamy and lays down nicely. I personally go over the ends of my wings with a liquid liner for extra sharpness, and it lays nicely underneath the liquid without pilling or cracking. I will say it's not the absolute darkest black liner I've ever used, but it's definitely still black. I've also experienced no running or smearing even when out in this crazy summer heat. For how affordable it is, it's performed better than more expensive liners I've bought previously, would purchase again.
