I have the dark chocolate/Bronze one. The dark chocolate works beautifully as an eyeliner, the bronze I used as eye shadow. Another bomb.
I've spent WAY too much money trying to find a replacement for the sapphire double wear eye pencil I used for at least 10 years. The new gel formulation is terrible-bought 2 and they're soft, the blue color is way too bright for me, and they don't sharpen well. While the color of this kajal pencil i...

Most eyeliners "tug" on my lids, and don't go on smoothly. I purchased the Smoke and Brighten about a month ago, and it's my new favorite! I'm using the dark chocolate/bronze. I use the bronze on my top lid in the inner corner, and bottom right in the outer corner to make my eyes sparkle! And the dark chocolate I use for the wing (top lid outer corner to about center). I use a shadow brush to smudge out the darker color and give my eyes the Smokey effect! The liner stays soft enough to work with. Most others dry as soon as you apply. My liner came with a sharpener, and I've had no issues sharpening. Even sharpens to a fine point (accidentally sharpened too well lol). Love love love it and plan on purchasing again, may try another color next time!

I have the dark chocolate/Bronze one. The dark chocolate works beautifully as an eyeliner, the bronze I used as eye shadow. The only con about this pencil is the hard plastic exterior is very hard to remove with a sharpener. These used to be made of wood. I bought the Estee Lauder sharpener thinking it would be better, but it wasn't. The pencil is very soft and can not be sharpened to a point, but that does not bother me. It is so soft and silky and easy to make a line with a light touch and carefully filling in a line. Despite being so soft it dries solid and looks the same at the end of the day. It is so hard to remove the plastic that it is hard to expose enough of the liner. I would hope they would change these so it is easier to sharpen the outside part. The pencil itself would never come to a point because it is so soft, but that is why it works so well and works better than a pointy liner. Also some of these colors like the bronze would be nice in a wider pencil to use for eye shadow. All the colors are beautiful. I would buy them all if it wasn't so hard to take the outer covering off.
I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this

I've only used this pencil two or three times, and the point broke. When I attempted to sharpen it using a reliable sharpener that I have, it left nothing but sharp shards of wood. I contacted customer service, who told me that the Estee Lauder sharpener would definitely work. Meanwhile, the pencil is useless. It might be a good idea to warn people that only your sharpener will work. Trash now.

Can't sharpen

I bought this thinking I would give the lighter color a try as a new look. I'm a big fan of Kajal liners. Initially, I liked it, especially the smoke color. It took a couple of times to play around with the brighten to figure out how it worked best, but soon became a fan. However, when it came to sharpening (with EL sharpener), forget it. The liner is useless unless I want to cut my eyelid with the wood!! Now, I think of using it, but sadly can NOT. Such a waste of money!
