- Q
Does it have fragrance ?
- Asked by Ivonka
- Official Answer By MuradAt Murad, our first concern is the health and comfort of our customers. That’s why Murad products are rigorously tested to minimize the risk of irritation. Because ingredients added to formulas for fragrance can be a source of irritation, Murad products are either fragrance free or minimally fragranced. For our products that are not fragrance free, the fragrances used are FDA approved as safe for use in cosmetics and the concentrations we use are at a minimal level. Standard descriptive conventions require manufactures to describe these minimal fragrance agents as “parfum” – a term that unfortunately creates confusion, since it falsely suggests the presence of the kind of heavy perfuming agents used to create colognes. In addition, we are required to describe as “parfum,” ingredients added to provide an aroma therapeutic or other health benefit, such as such as lavender, citrus and tea tree derivatives. While there is a popular understanding that a “natural” fragrance is always preferable, according to FDA labeling requirements, a fragrance must be described as synthetic even if it is a fraction of a natural essential oil that has been standardized for aroma, to assure consistency, potency and purity, or to reduce or eliminate naturally occurring allergens. Because these standardized ingredients proved a safe, predictable, and pleasurable experience for our customers, we do include them in some of our fragrance blends. Was this answer helpful to you

In one of the aswers it is said this should better be alone (rather than combined with the Resurgence Eye Serum), or you could use one on the AM and the other on the PM. However, on the Murad website, these products are being sold together in a kit, and on the "How to Use" section for the kit, it says you should pat the cream on top of the serum. So which one is more advisable? Will the cream lessen the benefit of the serum, or vice-versa, if they are layered?
- Asked by Hewie
- Official Answer By MuradYou can absolutely use them together. You would apply the Retinol Youth Renewal Serum and then the Renewing Eye Cream. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
do I need to use both the resurgence eye serum a nd resurgence eye cream or can I just use one? and if so, which one is better?
- Asked by juls
- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertOne isn't better than the other, they just have their own unique qualities. Renewing Eye Cream has peptides along with other active ingredients in it's creamy formulation. Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum of course has the Retinol Tri-Active Technology in it's serum or gel formulation. Some people like to use both of them, one in the morning and the other at night. Was this answer helpful to you

Fantastic Eye Cream
I purchased product for the first time based on reviews. I could tell I liked it better than the Exuviance eye cream that I have been using for a couple of years, after one application. After using it less than one week I no longer needed under-eye concealer. I swear to you I am not exaggerating. Al...

Love the product HATE the packaging
I got a tiny version of this in a Murad combo pack, and I absolutely loved the eye cream. I used it daily and saw improvement in the fine lines under my eyes, which is important during the winter. I splurged and bought the full sized version. Unfortunately, the pump that this comes in is terrible....

Wonderful
I received this product gifted by Murad Skincare for review. I love the instant results and have been using it daily under makeup and I love it! I always love Murad skincare products and it is one of my favorite skincare brands by far! If you want to invest in a great eye cream this is it!
Need to mix with moisturizer
From what I understand, you need to mix this with your moisturizer when you start to use at 2:1 or even 3:1. . And only every other day or two days in between to allow time for your skin to adapt to it. Then progress to using more the product after several weeks. I'm starting now and will report back. Yes, it is pricey. But I am willing to try anything at this point!
Disappointed
Verified Buyer
I've only been using this product for a few days but so far it seems to be helping with under eye puffiness. My complaint would be with the pump application. After every use, a drop dries up inside the nose of the pump, so the first bit that comes out is always a lump of cream which is hard to smooth over skin. Really disappointing for a product this pricey. I would not purchase again because of this malfunction.
Poor Design
Verified Buyer
Poorly designed. Cannot remove the top. Cannot see how much you've used.
Drying, nothing for puffiness or dark circles
For reference, I've used other eye creams and have never had any issues. This product was drying, not smooth under makeup, seemed to make the puffiness worse after a few hours, and did nothing for dark circles. It couldn't get it anywhere near my eye without me to tear up the rest of the day. There is a warning on the bottle about it coming into contact with eyes, but I thought that was unnecessary legalese. However, it really CAN'T come into contact with my eyes without some sort of reaction. So forget about putting it anywhere except about a 1/4 inch or further below your lash line or anywhere on your upper lid (because it seems to run down throughout the day). I kept wondering if it was just my imagination so I used half the bottle, hoping for a delayed effect. What's the point of this stuff?
