Color: ChocolateWhen I ordered this, I had assumed that it would be a lot smaller than it appears on the product page. There are no dimensions listed, so I kind of had to guess based on past experience with such hairclips. The photo of the woman wearing the hairclip does show that it might be somewh...at large, but I've learned to rarely trust those types of pics because so many are photoshopped and out of proportion. Even then, I can't see anyone being able to wear this hairclip in the way she's wearing it unless they have way more hair than the average person. That's certainly not me. My hair is thin. I can usually work my hair in ways that allow for a larger clip, but this one is impossible.Seriously, only consider this hairclip if you have a whole lot of hair. It's about 3 1/2" in length and almost 3" high. That's all fine and good, but it's the open space that holds the hair that is the problem. When it squeezes closed, you still have a good 2" opening. It does not allow for a full, tight closure that most do to adjust for thinner hair. Again, you need a lot of hair to be able to wear this hair clip.With that said, it is made well. Very sturdy and durable. The plastic is thick and there aren't any jagged edges to damage the hair. Seems as though it would hold well, but I can't really tell because no matter how I try to style my hair with this hairclip, it would fall on the floor in seconds.
