- Q
Hi this might be a silly question but is there a way to make this work with powder/compact foundation?
- Asked by Catlady
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEThank you so much for reaching out! That’s a great question. Our Pro Matte Mixing Pigment is specially formulated to blend with liquid foundations. Due to the texture and formulation differences, it won’t mix properly with powder foundations, and using the two together could result in an uneven or patchy application. Was this answer helpful to you

OMG life saver
I was skeptical about these pigment mixers (I have a hard time getting foundations to work well on me) but after reading the reviews I thought I would try it, and I'm so glad I did. I have a Medium/neutral olive undertone and have had the hardest time for years to find a shade that closely matches m...

They Work, But...
So I purchased the blue mixer because I'm a medium-tan skin tone and almost every foundation I've tried is far too yellow or orange on me. I was hoping the blue would help cool down the strong yellow undertones in my foundations a bit. It does cool them down, but the problem is that it gives them a ...

Great product to adjust your foundation tone
I bought this to adjust the yellow cast in my Charlotte Tilbury foundation. Works so well.
Works well as face paint
I used this to do a Chappell Roan heart makeup look. I ended up using about 2 pumps for my whole face when testing it. It did look chalky on the first past but with a damp beauty blender and white setting powder it looked more solid. The amount for the price is pretty great!
goth girly holy grail
does LA girl know how much they've done for the goth community with this? seriously i would buy this by the gallon if they sold it. finding a TRUE WWWHHITE as a ghost 👻 complexion product, especially at the drugstore, is so insanely difficult, i had to use just concealer all over my face for a really long time until i found this. not drying at all, doesnt feel too heavy (although with the amount of powder i use it gets to be quite bulky), and most importantly, is WHITE so i can achieve my vampire dreams. also, it works great for its intended purpose too! i occasionally mix it with my regular foundation for when i want to look like a human lol and it's great. their white concealer is good too, but i recommend kim chi chic's the most concealer in white to go with it!
Super Dry
returning this asap!! absolutely horrible and made my face cake-y. save your money and don't bother
criminally underrated
If most base products pull too yellow or orange on you I would HIGHLY recommend the blue mixing pigment. I have the white and blue and they're such life savers. They don't change the formula of whatever you put them in. I even use them to adjust liquid blushes just to switch it up a bit.
