Wait no white cast???

I received this Bioré UV aqua rich sunscreen from Home Tester Club (HTC) in exchange for my honest opinion and wow let's talk. It's summer time in Houston currently and as anybody knows the heat is completely heinous so I needed a sunscreen that can help with protecting my skin from UV rays, moistur...

Harmful chemicals

I wanted to like this sunscreen since I love my biore watery essence PA SPF 50++++ but was not thrilled with this one. First off, the ingredients. This contains 3!! Harmful ingredients: Homosalate, Octocrylene and Avobenzone. All of these can be harmful hormones disruptors and cause cancer. Not a fa...

Not the same as the one sold in Japan

The original sunscreen is amazing. Biore Watery Rich Aqua Essence SPF 50 PA++++. You can tell this is the American version because it says "Broad Spectrum". You can only get the original via a JP seller or in Japan now. The FDA has cracked down on selling foreign sunscreens in the US. I tried this new one and its nothing like the original. It uses 3 harmful ingredients and UV filters that have not been updated since 1999. Do not buy this expecting the same as Japanese standards.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Good but not the same as the ones in japan

I love bioré sunscreen especially the ones they sell in japan its something I buy in bulk when I visit japan, but unfortunately this one is not the same as the ones they sell in japan. It has a white cast that no matter how much you rub it will not go away it also smells like sunscreen which yes I know I bought sunscreen so it's going to smell like sunscreen but the ones from japan does not smell like sunscreen and it doesn't leave a white cast on you face. This sunscreen did leave my skin hydrated but also at time it felt oil, its a good sunscreen if you don't mind the white cast.

BEST FACE SUNSCREEN ON THE MARKET

Submitted 15 days ago

Biore UV Aqua Rich Daily Hydrating Moisturizer SPF 50 is, in my opinion, the best face sunscreen on the market. It is light weight, absorbs quickly into skin, and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth! It is not thick, tacky or sticky. The dry down time is incredibly fast and it is perfect for under make up. I recently tried Naked Sundays CabanaClear SPF 50 Water Gel. Biore is far better in my opinion. Naked Sundays CabanaClear SPF 50 Water Gel does not absorb as quickly, leaves a slightly tacky/greasy texture, and the smell is unappealing to me (it has a noticable chemical smell). I would highly recommend this product! It combines well with my morning skincare routine and is perfect under make-up.

I ordered it thinking it is the original watery essence one. I guess it is my fault. But this sunscreen on absolute terms is also not good. there is a weird smell, and it leaves white cast. This is not what I was looking for.
