Average mail polish.

I don't do my nails too frequently, and when I do I use gel polish as it lasts considerably longer than regular polish. I do still own a few regular polishes for those occasions when I need to do my nails fast and can't bring my whole gel polish set up with me. So I am familiar with how a good nail ...polish should perform. I think this polish performs ok. I did have some problems getting it to not look streaky. This is especially noticeable with the lighter shade. I usually do 2-3 thin coats to build the opacity and pigmentation. But it was a little bit difficult to do that with this polish. I found that when applying the second coat, it seemed to reactivate the "dry" coat beneath it. It made it difficult to glide the brush down. This made the polish a bit gummy and lumpy. The only way to remedy this was to lay down a thicker layer of polish than I would've liked. But this made it so it took even longer for that second layer to dry. Because of this, I decided to forego the third layer since I would need to let that dry even longer before I could top it off with a top coat. Luckily the pigmentation was good enough where I could get away with just 2 coats. The shades I received weren't what I typically gravitate towards but that's not an issue since the full display seems to show several other spring shades I do like. When it comes to longevity, the polish does seem to have a good lasting ability. Once it dries it does seem like it's set in place. All in all I don't think the polish performed any better than cheaper options I own. I would still consider purchasing it just for the fact that it's vegan and derived from more natural ingredients. I think the price is a little steeps I would have to find some shades I'm really in love with to justify purchasing the polish.
