I went into ULTA to buy a good striping brush. Unfortunately this was the only thing they had. I didn't want to go home empty handed so I bought the set. I think the brushes are okay. I bought this set to originally use to try and start doing nails. After that didn't pan out I started using some of the items in the kit for use with makeup and art pieces. The dotting tool has been great for palette knife art and to spread paint without distorting or blurring artwork. I never could really use the striping brush well though.

For my first set of manicure brushes and tools, this is great!! The cleanup brush did come apart, the metal sleeve with the bristles came off, but I glued it back on, no problem! I'm very happy with the set, although I have not used all of the items in the set as of yet. I am not sure I will use the pinstriping brush (looong brush tip), but that might be because I haven't found a use for it yet. The clear plastic brush is pretty much the same as the cleanup brush, interchangeable. The dotting tool is cool, though I've only used it for nail decals or what I call "nail stickers", the peel up nail design you glue to your nail with topcoat and trim to fit. Added pic, don't mind my weird, curved fingers.
