Too sticky - broke out
I was using the face lotion before, and when I ran out I went to the Origins store in Disney Springs to buy a new one. The sales lady said that they didn't carry the face lotion anymore. I asked if I could get it online, and she answered no, that they had upgraded to this - the hydrating moisturizer...

I've used the MM products for many years and was very disappointed when the MM Skin Relief Soothing Face Lotion disappeared. I called customer service and was told that it was replaced with this emulsion lotion. Not even close. It doesn't really absorb into your skin. It's hard to put makeup on a sticky surface. I use it at night sometimes and remarkably it slides off my face when I wash it in the morning. Perhaps this is the "barrier" feature? Please bring back the soothing lotion! It was lightweight, absorbed beautifully and helped with redness. I'm lost without it.

Unpleasant scent and a very liquid consistency. I have been using for weeks along with a new sunscreen, and I have been breaking out. Not sure which one is the culprit, but since this smells weird and it makes my face look too shiny, I am tossing this out too.

I used it for the first time today. The smell is lovely and relaxing, but it left my face feeling sticky, though I applied VERY sparingly. Disappointed!
