So this is NOT a heat protectant (according to 2 answers here from SheaMoisture)? The product description says "Protects brittle hair from high heat up to 450 degrees" so I have been using it as a heat protectant. Can you clarify?

I have super dry, semi fine, frizzy color treated hair. This spray has been a go-to for years. I love products, so I always try other products that everyone raves about but tbh this stuff is the best. Its reliable, my hair absorbs the product like a dream, it smells amazing and has a low alcohol content. Its also free from all those pesky things that destroy my brazilian. Go for it. Even if you dont love it for some reason, you will at least like it lol
Best leave-in I've used
Hair Type Straight Hair
I have short (chin length), thick, straight, dry hair with some wiry grays and have never found a leave-in conditioner that didn't make my hair feel greasy or dirty... until this one. I love it, no greasy feel, and after blow-drying, my hair feels soft and smooth.
Like, don't love
It's very thick and feels heavy on my (fine) hair. It does feel nice after washed though. I personally can't use this product and then immediately style. The bottle was broken and I had to find another spray lid so the application is a bit hard, the spray doesn't evenly coat my hair. Overall, i think this is okay - it is hydrating and my hair feels decently better after the product has been left in and washed out. I don't think I would repurchase, but it's still decent, not my favorite. I have fine, bleached blonde hair for reference.
