I tried to use this a few times, but it doesn't stay on as advertised. After I tried to gloss it up with petroleum jelly, it just came right off. It wears off easily just on it's own. What am I doing wrong here?

For best results, you'll want to apply the weightless liquid lipstick to clean lips and wait a few minutes for the formula to set. We don't recommend using a balmy or jelly-like product on top as the emollient texture can affect the wear of your lip look. High quality, high performing product for those who want lip color to last all day. However, I found this formula to be too drying and uncomfortable on the lips, so I ended up returning. I also found it difficult to get an even, controlled application with the doe foot applicator and needed to use a lip brush. I also found that this product accentuated my lip lines.
Product vs Applicant
I'm convinced a lot of reviewers have no idea what they're doing. I bought this after an artist put it on me in a store. When using it myself I got the same results. Lasts ALL day. For those sayng it didn't, I'm assuming they didn't let it dry OR they applied another product with it (gloss, lipstick, etc.) I'm now shopping for a third color. I only came to the reviews to see if there was a recent issue. My only complaint is it's drying. That's not a big issue if you exfoliate and moisturize your lips at night though. Good luck everyone!
