For the perfect manicure, apply one coat of any of essie base coats on nails. Follow with two coats of essie original nail color. Finish with any one of essie's top coats.

There was absolutely NO effort put into Essie's tie-in to the upcoming Wicked movie. They couldn't even be bothered to create new shades for this collection - every single one is a reissue from 2024 with a new name. Even the Wicked: For Good logo is a cheap sticker. Wicked trick. Old products new stickers
The nail polishes are all old Essie products with new stickers. The colors won't match the colors in the photos. And when you get your bottle of nail polish you can pull off the top sticker saying the color name to reveal the actual color name and sticker below. Wicked trick Essie and Ulta played on us. If you complain Ulta basically doesn't care.
Scam you won't get defying expectations
Sooooo if you ordered defying expectations they will send you a completely different color called studs & spikes. They put a sticker over the top of another color and It looks nothing like defying expectations!!When you contact Ulta to get the correct color they basically don't care. Very disappointing. I'd really like the color of nail polish I actually ordered not some random different color.
Wickedly Good Nail Polishes
Last month, I purchased Essie's Limited Edition x Wicked For Good nail polishes in pink and green. Both nail polishes have a vibrant color that fully coats my nails with just one coat. It's stunning and easy to paint your nails with your applicator wand. And it comes off easily with remover. I would love to buy the other three colors in the collection.
I wouldn't Buy this product it's old polish with a fake nam.
Be aware that this product is not what you are actually buying. They put stickers on top of older polish making you believe it's a newer color but it's really very old. I pulled off the sticker and underneath was the original sticker. ITS A SCAM BE AWARE
Misleading picture
I purchased Bubble of Brilliance thinking it would look like the pictures--bright bubblegum pink with a pink or silver shimmer. It is NOT that. It's a sheer pink jelly with a strong purple micro-shimmer, which skews the color more towards orchid. The color is so different from the picture that when I pulled it out of the box I genuinely wondered if they sent me the wrong product. This polish is genuinely pretty, but not what I thought I was buying. More fool me for buying an Essie polish without checking a proper swatch video first, because the Photoshop ones used by the brand are not the most accurate.
