I purchased the large size for my long (waist-length), fine-textured hair. In terms of total hair thickness, I would say I'm on the medium range of the scale, and this hair clip was a 100% fail. Would not buy again
Loved the look of this hair clip, but after only a few uses, maybe wore it to toss my hair up 10 times, and the teeth started breaking off like crazy! My hair isn't even really thick at all, but it now only has 1 tooth remaining so ended up tossing

Super cute, not great hold for my hair type
Its very cute, but probably would hold better for more textured hair. I have finer hair. The claw is not big enough to hold all my hair and i dont have thick hair. But when i put less in, it slides some. I'd say go for it if you have curly or thicker hair for a half up!
