PREP: Exfoliate and moisturize dry areas, hands, feet, ankles and wrists.
APPLY: Apply with an applicator mitt in long, sweeping motions, blending as you apply.

Formula change
I've been buying this product for many many years, but when it arrived, the packaging looked a bit different. The brand name was much more bold, and it was missing the little circle symbol stating that it's long-wearing and skin perfecting. I didn't really think anything of it at first, but the formula color was so orange and looks so different on my skin. This is something that I use daily as a tinting moisturizer. I ended up taking it back to the store and swapped it. Luckily the regular bottle and color were in-store. I was wondering if maybe the color would've changed from being shipped because I don't usually do orders online, but I looked it up and found that other people have experienced this as well so I guess I just received one of those. Maybe there was a bad batch, but the poor reviews dated to a couple of years ago so I'm not really sure.
Not transfer proof
I NEVER take time to write reviews but this product is so awful I felt inclined to share. It doesn't not apply evenly and is absolutely NOT transfer proof. It transfer to my clothes, my pool towels, white robe, everything. You're better off buying the Bondi Sands One Day Tanner.
Great but poor blending
first time using this product- i do like it...gives my pale skin color and hides my KP. Downside is that the product does not spread well like lotion as its not really thin and slippy. i used nivea w/ it for an even blend,
Definitely
I usually wear long sleeves for golf so my arms are white. But I bought a short sleeved dress and needed a little tan. I didn't want to apply a slow build up tan- too much planning. The Instant Glow was perfect. Applied it and my arms looked tan immediately. The application was very easy- no smearing and quick, I thought the light/med version could have been a little deeper. The med/dark is a shocker when first applied if you put on too much product but it does smooth out very well. I did not notice that it came off on my clothing. I'm looking forward to more short sleeved dresses!
Works well but takes a while to dry
The color is beautiful and it blends great (I use a brush to blend it on my body… if you're using hands, it may be more difficult.) you do have to wait 15 minutes probably at least for it to dry. I do think it's worth it though- got compliments!
