Preparing the puff is key: press the Velour Puff into the loose powder. Work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together, then tap off any excess on back of hand. Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to "work" the powder in. Focus on the areas where makeup breaks down the most.

It's not the best for dark spots
I have very dark discoloration on my face from years of tanning. Wear Sunscreen! I have a hard time finding makeup that will cover or blur my dark spots. I received free sample. The powder has a very fine, ultra-blur finish that helps soften pores, fine lines. It controls shine well and holds makeup in place for many hours sometimes all day depends on you . If you want a high-end setting powder that delivers a soft-matte, photo-friendly blur without heavy texture, this set is very appealing.

This has been my go-to setting powder since high school for a reason. It's easy to control the amount of product used, doesn't apply cakey, and keeps my makeup set all day and night! No matter what changes pop up for the rest of my base, this plays well every time.

I've tried many setting powders and this one is one of my favorites. Does a great job of blurring and setting, my recommendation is making sure you start with a good base for the best results. I just wish the powder puff wasn't seperate and fit in the case, but that's my preference.
