New formula. Better than ever
Lip stain is amazing. This new formula is extra rich, soft, luxurious. Lips are so comfortable, yet moistened, not sticky, not leaving stains on glass surfaces! I love it love it . Thank you. It is an amazing improvement!

It's a no for me
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It's OK but would not be a go to for me. If you are a lip stain connoisseur then this may work for you, if you are a beginner then don't do it. Pros: The color is beautiful and so perfect for the summer. The smell doesn't have that acidy...

Great lip stain!
I was looking for a stain to put under my red lipstick that would still be there when the lipstick wore off. This doesn't quite fit the bill as it does come off after eating but it's beautiful and so comfortable to wear on its own! The buildable color really packs a punch and it doesn't feel gloopy or like too much as you add more layers. The red leans more pink-ish than I wanted but I hope they'll extend the shade range so there will be more options eventually!

Thank you, Influenster, for sending me the Clarins Water Lip Stain to try. I received the shade Rose Water, which turned out to be a vibrant hot pink. Personally, the color didn't suit me, as I tend to prefer softer or more neutral tones. The formula is extremely watery, which makes the applicator feel overly wet and a bit uncomfortable during application. It's not the most beginner-friendly lip stain—the liquid consistency requires a steady hand to avoid patchiness. If you apply too much product, it can leave a slightly tacky residue on the lips, which I found less than ideal. On the plus side, the product is lightweight once it sets, and it does offer a long-lasting tint. However, I'd recommend exfoliating and moisturizing your lips beforehand to avoid emphasizing dryness. If you enjoy bold, vivid shades and don't mind a learning curve in application, this might be worth a try.

This is the same lip tint that came out 20 or more years ago, and it has the same problem too: it is made for perfectly hydrated lips or it's going to show (amplified) every single patch of dry skin you have. This is my case, unfortunately, and it looked terrible. Also, the applicator, in this case a simple brush, didn't help at all. Sorry but not for me.

Excellent discovery
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I loved this product. The packaging is beautiful, the lettering embossed on the lid adds a glamorous touch, and the scent is delicious, somewhere between super sweet strawberry and bubblegum. 😍 It makes you want to eat it 🤤 Excellent pigmentation, a little product is enough. My skin tends to have an oily tendency and since I don't look for oils among its ingredients, I decided to try a touch on my cheeks and I liked it, but be careful: this trick may may not work with all foundations.
