Application: Mineral sunscreens form a barrier on the surface of the skin to reflect the sun's rays, and a white cast can sometimes remain after applying the product. Apply a small amount in the palm of your hands and rub them together. Apply to one area of the body at a time, rubbing well. The formula should spread easily leaving a lightweight, non-greasy feel. All sunscreens should be applied liberally for sun protection. It is essential to use any sunscreen product as directed.
To help reduce white cast, apply a moisturizer first, followed by Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen.
How to Use: 1. Apply CeraVe Sunscreen Lotion liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, 2. Reapply at least every 2 hours, use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor.
Precautions: For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin.

This sunscreen isn't inclusive to the people with a darker shade and leaves a white cast on your face. The texture is really thick and does leave your face looking greasy and feeling greasy.

My dermatologist recommended this mineral sunscreen. I was previously on la roche posay spf face moisturizer but since it wasnt mineral, my doc wanted me to switch. Instant horrible white cast which was quite comical. It smells like rubber tires. I broke out in a rash by day 2, my skin feels like reptile skin. Took a break on day 3 but on day 4 it burned after i applied it. It pills and was blotchy on my skin. Im officially done with this spf.

I was really hoping to like this product but every time I use it, I can't get over the smell. It reminds me of petroleum or some odd substance like that. I don't know if this is normal but I wouldn't recommend it because of that.

It does provide protection but me being brown skin i was not able to use it in my face because of cast. I decided to mix it with moisturizer but still has cast. I would not suggest it to color people.

llove a good moisturizer with sunscreen added! Less work to do and works wonders! I have very dry skin and love using this product! Some sunscreens have a weird smell but this smells amazing!
