ULTA Beauty Collection Glitter Cream Eyeshadow

My eyes burnt after applying this, so if you decide to get it I'd suggest using it on another layer of eyeshadow or as a topper. It's really pretty, though. Mostly glitter, but has a metallic shine if you apply a couple times.

I am so disappointed, once again, in an Ulta product. You would think that a beauty store would have some really great products but I have bought so many things here that end up being so-so to not good at all. The only good thing I have to say about this is the color is pretty. However, it was dry, and felt like I was applying straight up glitter and no creme. It became very irritating to my eyes, after a short time of applying the glitter managed to go everywhere and when I sweated, it got worse (I'm a nurse..so, masks..gowns..==me a hot mess 😔).

First of all, the applicator is like one of those doe-foot lip applicators. I'm used to more of a paddle style applicator, but it works just as good. Secondly, this needs multiple swipes to build up an even metallic sheen. The glitter is very chunky, so it goes on unevenly. Don't expect precision glitter liner looks with these. Thirdly, when this creases (and it does often) it breaks up the creme shadow instead of showing lines. If it's a super deep crease it will settle into them, but finer lines break the glitter up into chunks so it breaks up the wet, metallic look. Otherwise I love these for a diffuse glitter look. They are super shiny and sparkly and don't budge once dried. They still look amazingly wet on the eyelids even after 8 hours of wear. There is very little fallout although, when it creases, some of the chunkier bits do fall off.
