I don't need a lot of definition for my hair, just want something to keep it from getting too flyaway. I really like this gel; it helps to keep my hair tamed but doesn't weigh it down. Recommended!
Love Natural fragrance but bottle confused me
Im very sensitive to fragrances so . was supwr excited when I found Odele. A salesperson at Ulta recommended it when I asked for hair products without fragrance. I was looking for a gel to use with oil to create a shiny slicked back style. Standing in front if the products the salesperson said - oh thats too bad they don't have a gel. I browsed for a bit trying to find a gel with a scent that wouldnt bither me. I eventually gave up and went back to buy some Odele shampoo, conditioner and pomade cream. Thats when I noticed there was a shelf tag labeled gel. I looked at the bottle above it and in tiny print it said it was a gel!! Both the saleswoman and I assumed a gel would come in a tube. The tiny print indicating what the product is makes it hard to differentiate between the products. On shelf and at home.

I am a curly headed gal, and I really do not care for gels not matter how much the manufacturer states it leaves hair soft and styled. This gel is not too bad in comparison to many. However, as with the leave in conditioner, it loses any moisturizing or frizz contral within a few hours after drying. Once again, it is probably fine for straight or wavy "regular" hair which many products are aimed at. Caorse hair with curls is a different ball game. I wish Odelle would come up with a styling cream that moisturizes. This brand only has gels. I do like the shampoo and conditioners and love the nice clean light scent! But the styling products are not enough
