Cleans, doesn't exfoliate
It lathers well, and will get you clean. If you're looking for a scratchy scrubby type of exfoliating look elsewhere. Exfoliating is Correct
I honestly really dislike this loofah BUT that is on me for not taking the name seriously. I assumed all loofahs are exfoliating (that's its job...) and they just meant it was a firmer/denser one rather than those flimsy ones. Nope, it has a rougher texture that I just can't get over. So, if you don't have sensitive skin and want something that will EXFOLIATE, this is the loofah for you! It seems well-made, but I can't speak to its lifespan as I had to stop after a few showers and switch to the other ecotools loofah.

I loved how exfoliating this was but it completely unraveled after one week.

Great Exfoliating Loofah!
This is a great loofah!! I was impressed with the quality as the material is strong and not flimsy feeling like how most loofah feel like they will fall apart. Also, for a loofah it has great exfoliation! I don't rely solely on this for exfoliation as I have to use a sugar scrub but I use this for body wash and it's been great and rinses out really well without absorbing and holding alot of water or body wash when finished.
Rougher than others I have tried
I bought this figuring shower puff...how different could it be. I was wrong. This one is so rough that I will now use to clean my shower instead of my body. I would not repurchase this again. There are much softer puffs out there.
