So underrated
I'm a concealer junky but I have never stopped using this for like 20 years now. I started using this as a teen when I had smooth skin and acne, and I still love it now that I have large pores/fine lines/melasma/dark circles. There's never been anything better for a natural "no makeup" finish. I will say the online swatches are terrible and so is the shade range (where's the chocolate shades??). I have fair neutral skin and I've purchased 110 ivoire (usable but a little too light), 210 light buff (slightly too grey), 250 light bisque (looks too dark but after letting it sit on my skin, its perfect!). I highly suggest getting a peachy tone like 250 because it really helps to even out the undereyes and lifts the greyness out of melasma/sun spots. Also I apply it and let it sit for a few minutes so it melts in before I set it with hourglass translucent setting powder - it looks absolutely undetectable! People compliment me on my "flawless skin" and not my makeup - I always have to tell them it's this concealer. Why do I try other concealers? This one is not full coverage for when I do glam going-out makeup. Still searching for a good one for that.
Why
Have used this for 25 years! The new one is lovely, but doesn't come close to the coverage and wear of Effacernes. Is it worth it to alienate lifelong customers in order to save a few bucks on quality ingredients? Please consider bringing it back🙏🏻

Why has the Effacernes waterproof concealer been discontinued after all these years??? This is the best product on the market by far, and the porcelain is the only shade that matches my skin tone. I have exclusively worn Lancôme for over 30 years, spending hundreds of dollars a month. This is the only concealer that covers blemishes good and under the eyes without being greasy, leaving a smooth finish. The suggested replacement is nowhere near as good as this product and it doesn't come in a tube, so it dries out quickly with the applicator. Your marketing department made a terrible decision to discontinue. Why do they insist on getting rid of the best selling products only to replace them with less effective ones? For the first time in over 30 years, I am seriously considering switching to another brand for all of my makeup. This product has nearly 5 star reviews everywhere. Why would you discontinue something that everybody loves?? Unhappy consumers leads to loss revenue. I strongly suggest you reconsider bringing this product back.
